las calidades que exige el mercado de los Estados Unidos de Amrica.
SUMMARY
The following work aims to show the most attractive market for the export of
mango and uchuva from Colombia. The potential market for the export of this
product to the united states has been chosen; as will be shown in this
document, the consumption of mango and uchuva in this country , as well as
the exports of the same have been increasing, which represents an
opportunity for the document reference is made to the tendency of the united
states market to consume fruit products. This could become a production
alternative not too distant considering the productive potential and the
organized intentions of government institutions and guilds to develop clusters
that allow to secure production with sustainable qualities an quantities, this
option will allow entering the north American market with the conviction of
effective positioning.
The analysis of the present work has been done on the basis of the
information of the traditional mango and uchuva all. Information was obtained
from studies carried out on the trend in consumption of these products in the
American market, the current production in Colombia and how it is possible to
internationalize a product without fears or failures not to pass, to make a
simple export and to reach the objective to obtain the expected positioning.
On the other hand, with the signing of the free trade agreement between
Colombia and the united states, it will allow an optimum preparation to
compete with the qualities demanded by the market of the united states of
America.

el mango fue atrado en el siglo xvI por los espaoles a Mxico, de donde se
extendi a todo el caribe y de la india al Brasil por los portugueses. Hasta
mediados del presente siglo, solo se conocan en Colombia las llamadas
variedades criollas producidas probablemente en las Antillas.
