Chettinad is a collection of 78 villages and towns in the Sivaganga district of eastern Tamil Nadu. Sapad is South Indian meal. Served on a banana leaf, the banana leaf is laid so that the leaf tip is pointed left. Before anything is served you have to sprinkle water and clean it. The top half of the banana leaf is reserved for accessories dishes and the lower half for the rice. Accessories: fried chips, aplam, poriyal, chutney Server serves, yellow daal(lachka), then rassam, then sambar, then curd.  P.S: If it is not served as per rule my husband gets annoyed.
