This video shows how perfectly Magnus navigates TSA security at the airport. TSA can either pat Magnus down or ask me to remove all of his gear (collar, leash, etc). Because I know how insanely well trained he is, I opt to let him go through untethered, without anything on him. His complete focus, even in a new and very distracting environment is a testament to the training that we have done together to get him to this extremely high level.

The reason Magnus is allowed to fly with me in the main cabin is because he is not only a certified therapy dog, but he is also my task trained service dog.

Steve Del Savio on Instagram: "First, let me be clear. ANY dog can be a service dog, including rescue dogs.

My main point here is that the probability of your own dog having the instincts and characteristics needed for service work will be less probable than professionals who know how to select dogs or breed dogs specifically for service work.

We should also note that service dogs are different from emotional support dogs or therapy dogs.

Technically, those dogs do a service, but I'm talking about dogs who are required to do a specific task, such as guiding a blind person.

What most don’t realize is that service dogs are specifically bred for genetics of the temperament needed for the type of service work the dog will do.

The energy of the individual dog will determine if the dog is Blind Person, Service Dog Training, Main Point, Emotional Support Dog, Breed Dogs, About Dogs, Service Dog, Therapy Dogs, Rescue Dogs

the ADA states that “A person with a disability cannot be asked to remove his service animal from the premises unless: (1) the dog is out of control and the handler does not take effective action to control it or (2) the dog is not housebroken.”
out of control behavior can include lunging, barking (in some cases), running up to people, pottying, and being aggressive towards people or service dogs.
i have reported out of control pets wearing service dog vests many times, and unfortunately many businesses aren’t aware of their own rights. i have also heard that employees at many lar Service Dog Aesthetic, Service Dog Vests, Dog Vests, Dog Jokes, Service Dog, Out Of Control, Service Animal, Service Dogs, A Dog
