wonyoungism is basically just (imo) a toxic and unhealthy version of self care revolving around a kpop idol named wonyoung. wonyoungism focuses on always having clear skin, always being skinny, comparing to others, generally always being “perfect”. the difference between self care and wonyoungism is that self care includes self love. eating a pizza when youre hungry is self care and self love. keeping hygenic is self care. forbidding yourself from touching pizza is wonyoungism.
