The original idea was from "The Charming Nest" (http://www.thecharmingnest.com/2011/07/mudroom-storage-reveal.html) Their plan used two, two drawer TV stands. We just happened to have a three drawer stand sitting in our basement. We used their plans for guidance and added a rain-boot area where the third drawer would have been. Hope you all like it

Living in an old home has it's challenges. One of them being storage! We needed a place for all of our winter gear and boots, so we decided to do an Ikea mudroom locker hack to add some more storage. We had a spot in our downstairs hallway that worked perfectly. You can easily make these look like they are built-ins but we decided not to due to a small access door for some plumbing.
