Zahr-el-Din El-Najem (Arabic: زهر الدين النجم; born 11 January 1977) is a retired Syrian hurdler. He competed in the men's 400 metres hurdles at the 2000 Summer Olympics.[1][2] At continental level, he won one bronze medal in the 400 m hurdles at the Asian Athletics Championships and participated at the 1998 Asian Games. His personal best of 49.33 seconds is the Syrian indoor record for the 400 m event.[2]
