Welcome to the fifth Bugle edition for 2018!
The April 2018 Backlog Drive concluded at the end of the month with some impressive results. The drive saw 31 editors submit entries. In total 3,307 articles and ancillary pages were tagged for the MILHIST project, with 2,565 articles being assessed. In addition, 131 new articles were created and many task force pages (resources and open task lists) were updated. A full list of entries can be found here. First place went to Gog the Mild with an incredible 5,228 points, while GELongstreet placed second with 2,534 points and Cdjp1 came third with 2,253 points. These editors received the Golden, Silver and Bronze Wikis respectively. Congratulations to these editors, thanks to everyone who worked to make the drive a success.
Turning to this issue of the Bugle, the regular article news section features many new featured and A-class articles. Most of the new A-class articles are biographies, and range from articles on astronauts to Roman emperors.
In the book review section, Hawkeye7 and Nick-D assess three recently released works. Last, but definitely not least, TomStar81 continues his epic World War I timeline with a summary of the war in May 1918.
Your editors, Ian Rose (talk) and Nick-D (talk)
