Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Nevada
Points of interest related to Nevada on Wikipedia: Outline – History – Portal – Category – WikiProject – Alerts – Deletions – Cleanup – Stubs |
This is a collection of discussions on the deletion of articles related to Nevada. It is one of many deletion lists coordinated by WikiProject Deletion sorting. Anyone can help maintain the list on this page.
- Adding a new AfD discussion
- Adding an AfD to this page does not add it to the main page at WP:AFD. Similarly, removing an AfD from this page does not remove it from the main page at WP:AFD. If you want to nominate an article for deletion, go through the process on that page before adding it to this page. To add a discussion to this page, follow these steps:
- Edit this page and add {{Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/PageName}} to the top of the list. Replace "PageName" with the relevant article name, i.e. the one on the existing AFD discussion. Also, indicate the title of the article in the edit summary as it is particularly helpful to add a link to the article in the edit summary. When you save the page, the discussion will automatically appear.
- You should also tag the AfD by adding {{subst:delsort|Nevada|~~~~}} to it, which will inform editors that it has been listed here. You may place this tag above or below the nomination statement or at the end of the discussion thread.
- There are a few scripts and tools that can make this easier.
- Removing a closed AfD discussion
- Closed AfD discussions are automatically removed by a bot.
- Other types of discussions
- You can also add and remove other discussions (prod, CfD, TfD etc.) related to Nevada. For the other XfD's, the process is the same as AfD (except {{Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/PageName}} is used for MFD and {{transclude xfd}} for the rest). For PRODs, adding a link with {{prodded}} will suffice.
- Further information
- For further information see Wikipedia's deletion policy and WP:AfD for general information about Articles for Deletion, including a list of article deletions sorted by day of nomination.
This list is also part of the larger list of deletion debates related to US.

I struggled to find significant coverage of the subject in reliable sources during my WP:BEFORE (there are a few interviews on soap opera related websites, but nothing of substance to my mind. The one significant role in One Life to Live does not meet the bar for WP:NACTOR, and so I submit that the subject is not notable. I proposed a Redirect to One Life to Live. The article is also not written from a terribly neutral point of view either, but that is somewhat by-the-by. SunloungerFrog (talk) 10:56, 6 December 2024 (UTC)

- Procedural close as the nominator does not advocate deletion. The article can be boldly redirected as desired. - The Bushranger One ping only 01:39, 7 December 2024 (UTC)
- Sorry, I didn't mean to be unclear. I do think that the article should be deleted. My suggestion of redirection was as an alternative to deletion, and I wanted to get some consensus before doing that. Cheers SunloungerFrog (talk) 06:41, 7 December 2024 (UTC)

non-notable youtuber who doesn't even remotely meet the inclusion criteria even for just YT personalities, let alone GNG.
Most of the sources are primary, or straight up blackhat SEO/nonsense. TURKIDICAE🦃 16:36, 6 December 2024 (UTC)

- Delete. The Verge reference is as close to a reliable source on the page as there is. That’s not even close to what we expect of BLPs. Everything else is sourced to social media and an anime fanzine. I won’t oppose a Draftify. Bearian (talk) 03:11, 7 December 2024 (UTC)

Non-notable rapper. Neither of the listed sources seem reliable, and I found no additional ones online. '''[[User:CanonNi]]''' (talk • contribs) 02:10, 6 December 2024 (UTC)

- Delete utter nonsense, no sources that indicate notability in the article much less anywhere else. GRINCHIDICAE🎄 17:15, 6 December 2024 (UTC)
