I had forgotten that there was also an IP that changed a signature and made overlapping edits as well, but never bothered to check it out... But I will just note it here in case they come back, or if it may mean something. That IP seems pretty familiar with Wikipedia procedures... I have a feeling (but not sure yet) that there may be more to the edits of 140.211.82.5 (and other IPs in the vicinity) that may appear at first. But for now, I will just note it here. And let me note this edit as well if that matters. History2007 (talk) 13:47, 2 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I have reason to suspect that Humanpublic and Strangesad are the same person. First of all, their editing patterns are quite similar. According to WikiChecker, Strangesad has made 11 edits to Resurrection of Jesus and 50 edits to Talk:Resurrection of Jesus, while Humanpublic has made 10 to Jesus and 75 to Talk:Jesus. (Note that Minorview has made 7 edits to Talk:Resurrection of Jesus.) They also take an interest to each other's talk pages. Strangesad has made 9 edits User talk:Humanpublic and 3 edits to User talk:Minorview; Humanpublic has made 5 edits to User talk:Strangesad; Minorview has made 2 edits to User talk:Humanpublic. More telling is the content of the edits to each other's talk pages. Strangesad has "encouraged" Humanpublic to create a sockpuppet, and continued to make the same arguments on religion that Humanpublic was topic-banned from. In addition, Strangesad has made an appeal against the blocks of Humanpublic and Minorview here. I think this case warrants some investigation. King of 04:11, 11 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The entire situation is very strange and an absolute waste of time of the time other editors. It is just WP:OWB item 3, again and again. There is no doubt that there is a connection, either meat or sock between these accounts. My feeling is that it is meat; with off Wiiki coordination. And what does announcing to everyone that they know each other mean? Why do that? But policy seems to have had little success in curbing Stranegsad so far. @Bbb23, I think the requirement for meatpuppetry is generally higher than that (I'm not saying I necessarily agree). There are plenty of other editors who know each other personally and edit. Although there does appear to be something strange going on in this case. IRWolfie- (talk) 13:16, 11 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

One common thread is the consistent persistence throughout, e.g. this after the Arbcom review of the technical data about sockpuppetry. History2007 (talk) 13:20, 11 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • I don't think it's any secret that I believe that Strangesad is a disruptive editor. However, I have never felt they are the same person as Humanpublic. I do think they know each other off-wiki (take a look at this conversation), and whether their editing constitutes meat puppetry I'm not sure as it doesn't really look like "recruiting" per se.--Bbb23 (talk) 12:47, 11 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
