Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Freedom skies/Evidence/Conclusion

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

My apologies to the arbitrators for the tardiness and what may appear to be a lack of will to defend myself.

JFD must have figured that in case an arbitration is imposed on me during my wikibreak I would to either too busy or perhaps even unwilling to come online and defend myself properly.

Merriam-Webster's Encyclopedia of World Religions By Wendy Doniger, Merriam-Webster:-

Bodhidhidharma, legendary Indian monk who is credited with the establishment of the Chan (Zen) school of Buddhismthat flourished in East Asia. Considered the 28th Indian sucsessor in a direct line from the Buddha Gotama, Bodhidharma is recognized by the Chinese Chan Schools as their first patriarch.

Sources, such as these are the tip of the iceberg.

I challenge JFD to prove if his view of the first Zen patriarch in China being fictional is held by reputable, mainstream media. Let's both bring WP:RS compatiable sources, the one with the exponentially smaller list of WP:RS compliant sources leaves WP forever. Also provide exact quotes instead of creative misinterpretation.

I'm the only editor who has shown the inclination to actually make a case for academic, mainstream point of view when it comes to Bodhidharma. JFD's intentions are to highlighted in the Bodhidharma, the martial arts, and the disputed India connection article.

JFD has attempted to have Shaolin Kung Fu reverted from this version to this biased version.

JFD has also attempted to have Bodhidharma reverted from the excellent present state to this biased state.

JFD will do just that once I'm gone.

JFD has also been meshing Indian mathematics into all of this, and has been mocking sources which endorse the traditional Shaolin temple claim.

Put us both under scanner, watch our every move in a set of articles. Have someone examine the articles and ask for quotations and sources. I am more than willing and have done it in the past.

I've done it before (work under neutral, third parties):-

From [1]

The article has improved immensely under your scrutiny. The article has gone from this version to this one in a very short duration of time.
I won't be adding anything major to the article for a long time (or perhaps not at all); If I do then I'll run it through you and will provide actual quotations etc. and possibly links.
I did intend to have the examples of removal of quotes and the meshing of quotes in "Origins of Bodhidharma" ready but got caught up crafting this instead. I'll definitely have them ready before I leave, and will keep checking WP throughout.
also try to minimize (possibly avoid) contact with the opposition from now on and have already stated that I won't interfere with their articles (Bodhidharma, the martial arts, and the disputed India connection and the Yi Jin Jing). "Discussions" such as these are neither productive nor pleasent.

Many regards,
