SergeiXXX (talk · contribs) - honest, reliable, fair, despise vandalism, am here on wikipedia to contribute more interesting information on Russia, and anything that has to do with it, esspeccially Russian, and Ukrainian sprorts and sportspeople (ex. my article on Ivan Poddubniy SergeiXXX 22:53, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Questions for the candidate

Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia as an administrator. You may wish to answer the following optional questions to provide guidance for participants:

1. What admin work do you intend to take part in?

A: Fighting vandallism, and finding more information on Russia and making articles, so that more people here in the West know about Russia and famous Russians.

2. What are your best contributions to Wikipedia, and why?

A: So far, that would be my article on Ivan Poddubniy. I was surprised Wikipedia didn't have an article about this great man, so made one myself. Being a Russian of Ukrainian ancestry, just like mr. Poddubniy, it just made me proud to write about him.

3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?

A: No, I haven't. I tend to resolve conflicts by compromise, most of the time. But, if nessesairy, I can also be

very strict, and hard-line even, esspessially with vandals, as I think they disrupt Wikipedia, and make it bad for all of it's users and that is not fair.

General comments

I am currently a moderator on several on-line forums, so I have a considerable experience in dealing with disruptive individuals.

Only 22 mainspace edits and joined 5 June 2007 - a bit too early for adminship. Most of the time admin tools are not required - one can be quite happy with WP:UNDO and WP:AIV. --h2g2bob (talk) 22:44, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
