- I'll be frank here; I think it is easier for you to seek assistance from an admin participant in the Wikiproject to approve and make changes to the template for you than obtaining the mop yourself. Unless you have intention in working on other admin aspects within Wikipedia. The disputes hurt your chances in obtaining the mop. - Mailer Diablo 18:58, 23 August 2008 (UTC)
- At least once (pre-protection), I have made a change after testing, and while watching it propagate through categories, realized that I had screwed something up (since I hadn't tested every possibility), and immediately fixed it. This kind of thing doesn't work well through editprotected. --NE2 19:03, 23 August 2008 (UTC)
- I am of opinion that two pair of eyes are always better than one, and the admin would also have helped ensure changes are error-proof (tell them to if necessary). - Mailer Diablo 19:10, 23 August 2008 (UTC)
- If I remember correctly, this was an obscure case that would not have been noticed prior to implementation, and took a little while to see because of the time it takes to propagate changes.
- By the way, I would be doing other admin tasks like correcting any errors I see on the main page, including images with questionable copyright status. --NE2 19:14, 23 August 2008 (UTC)

- I'm going to say something when I get the chance, but I don't know when that will be. --Rschen7754 (T C) 04:28, 25 August 2008 (UTC)

Questions
- Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
- I cannot think of anything recent, since I have not felt compelled to finish my recent projects such as U.S. Route 89 in Utah and Utah Division (D&RGW).
- Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- I have had several conflicts and associated dispute resolution (RFC, RFC 2, RFC 3, RFAr). If anything, I think my "jumping around" to different topic areas has been beneficial, since I was able to mostly stay out of the recent edit warring in California. If I find myself getting worked up, I will take a break and work on something else (like my GIS projects). --NE2 14:14, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
