Wikipedia:Editor review/Gphoto

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Gphoto (talk · contribs) Hello, I'm Gphoto, and I've been here since about the begining of September 2006. I have mostly worked on photography things on multiple levels, such as article, wikiprojects, and portals. I would like to know where I need to be editing and working to make myself a better editor, even thoug hi have not been around that long. I like reverting vandalism when I see it, but I have not gone on any active vandalism patrolling. Sometime soon I plan to start working on copyright issues with images, but so far I have not done any of it. I contribute pictures from time to time, and I keep Portal:Photography up and running. I am also involved with the photo wikiproject and the photography article somewhat. --Gphototalk 19:03, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Questions

  1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
I would say that my favorite contribution is the Portal:Photography. It was one of the very first things that I did after I got here, and I learned a whole lot while bringing up to featured portal status. During the time that I was working on the portal, I learned how to edit, talk to people and ask for help. There are many small contributions that I like, because editing in itself makes me happy, but I have not done any major article editing yet.
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
I have never gotten myself into a conflict with another editor yet, and I really do not know what I'll do when I get in a conflict, but I plan to keep cool and try not to get angry, because it just makes the problem worse when people start to get angry and make statements that are not in good faith.
