I see you wrote on your userpage that you fix typos and other minor errors. You've edited a lot of articles many times, so it seems you may have time for more substantive edits. I would encourage you to move in the direction of making fundamental changes to articles rather than just fixing other people's work. Obviously, everyone has to find the right balance, and I do a lot of both, depending on the mood I'm in on any particular day and hour.
I was a little concerned by the discussion you had with User:Green Kirby, which is on the current version of your talk page. It seems that you tried to tell him not to use talk pages as a chat forum, but the communication was less than ideal, and he may have misunderstood what you were trying to tell him. I'm glad it got figured out. WP:NOOB is an important guideline because were were all newbies once, and the vibrancy of the project depends on an influx of new users to compensate for the attrition of established users who leave to spend more time in real life. (The Signpost has reported on the deaths of a few Wikipedians.)
It may be more helpful to contextualize the advice you give to other users. Often, when I'm dealing with a new user, I'll offer them a welcome template to complement whatever advice or criticism I decide to send them. I saw an edit where you reminded someone to sign their posts, but didn't say anything else: that seemed a little odd to me. (I think you can add a standard template, like this: {{Unsigned|Username}}.) You make some spelling mistakes: try not to make mistakes in articles. You can review the text of articles in a spell checker on your computer's word processor if you need to.
I wish you good luck. Shalom (Hello • Peace) 03:27, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

Questions
- Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
- Um, I like to think I have a generally good standing on all of it. I'm active in the Legend of Zelda series, where i tried to clean up two articles. I came to the realization that they would never really be acceptable articles, so I AfD'd them, and they didn't survive. I've done my fair share of AfD nominations. I've been on the Dark Knight (film) and Cloverfield pages trying to maintain the guidelines on those pages, which are magnets for various either vandal or misinformed edits. Other than that i find myself wandering. I remove weapons lists when i see them and manually removed the list of XBox acheivments from a number of pages. I tried cleaning up the Command and Conquer: Renegade page, and I'm starting to work with the guitarist wikiproject as well. DurinsBane87 03:27, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
- Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- The only ones I can recall are when IPs or new users go against consensus. An incident on the Dark Knight page where a user wanted to put up an uneccesary picture, and there was a big argument on the List of games for virtual Console(north america) talk page awhile ago. But I wasnt heavily involved in that one. I dealt and will continue to deal with it by checking my stance against the appropriate guidelines and remaining calm. - It can be judged that do to your name having the phrase "Durin's Bane" in it, you do not agree with or do not get along well with User:Durin. Why is this?
LOL. No, I have no problem with Durin. DurinsBane87 has been my handle on nearly every internet profile I have since I was in tenth grade, about 5 or 6 years. It's actually a Lord of the Rings reference. There's even a wiki article on it here Durin's Bane. Hope I that clears that up for you. DurinsBane87 03:51, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
4. How would you say your attitude towards new editors is? Do you avoid them, encourage them, correct them ETC. Please be honest. Atomic Religione 15:42, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
