- (Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL)
The coverage (references, external links, etc.) does not seem sufficient to justify this article passing Wikipedia:General notability guideline and the more detailed Wikipedia:Notability (fiction) requirement. WP:BEFORE did not reveal any significant English-language coverage on Gnews, Gbooks or Gscholar. The PROD was removed with no useful rationale despite my explicit request to add one or comment on talk :( Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 01:17, 13 July 2020 (UTC)

- Redirect to Elements of the Cthulhu Mythos § A–F The Flying Polyps have not been seriously analysed. Furthermore, Great Race of Yith is now a redirect page. The Yithians are more notable than the Flying Polyps are. ―Susmuffin Talk 11:30, 13 July 2020 (UTC)
- Redirect - Susmuffin's suggestion of Elements of the Cthulhu Mythos#A–F is one possibility, as is The Shadow Out of Time, the short story where they were introduced and where most of the information on their fictional history came from. The polyps are not a major race of the Mythos - they were not even the focus of the story they debuted in, and were never given an actual name. The sources currently being used as citations are unusable as Reliable Sources - there is an RPG gamebook, a deviantart page, and a toy listing that doesn't even mention the polyps. There is also a listing for The Encyclopedia Cthulhiana, but upon looking at it, the entry on the polyps is just a summary of The Shadow Out of Time. Rorshacma (talk) 14:49, 13 July 2020 (UTC)
