Bad Boys of Computer Science

Non notable webcomic. Although long dead, looking on Google, I can not find any mentions, apart from a few passing mentions in blogs and old webcomic listings, certainly nothing to ascertain its notability. Transwiki to Comixpedia Weak Delete (transwiki complete); best I could find was Matt Boyd (writer for Mac Hall) calling it a "Pioneer" in webcomics [1]. Nifboy 01:59, 2 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Keep. It's been called a "pioneer" in webcomics by another notable webcomic artist, has 300 strips, and ran for two years. I don't see how a delete can be justified on this basis. Bryan 04:09, 2 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
- Reply - I saw this too, but I didn't think that mentions in blogs were exactly encyclopedic sources. People have mentioned "notable in its day", was it? I just couldn't seem to find anything other then some aforementioned blogs. And could I just add, longevity does not equal notability, this was one of the main points I had against the old WP:COMIC, which has now been totally reworked (although there is still some tinkering), I do not see how "running for 2 years" means that a website is notable. - Hahnchen 14:24, 2 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Keep: Definitely notable both because of its crossover with other notable comics like CRFH but also for Nick Yu's attempts at gathering together other Asian web comic artists. Also, BBoCS is still alive. Nick has been posting comics on his blog. Xuanwu 09:53, 5 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
