Hello, I'm Oshwah. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Kalpana Mohan seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 13:55, 15 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Kalpana Mohan. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 14:13, 15 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by inserting commentary or your personal analysis into an article, as you did at Kalpana Mohan. Bbb23 (talk) 15:20, 15 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A friendly piece of advice

[edit]

Note that IMDB alone can't be used to establish notability, in the Wikipedia sense of the word. Take a look at WP:ACTOR and WP:NOTABILITY. Symmachus Auxiliarus (talk) 08:30, 22 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Also have a look at Wikipedia:Citing IMDb. The IMDb is generally considered an unreliable source because its content is mostly user-generated.
As well, have a look at WP:SPS. Self-published sources like social media (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.) are generally considered unreliable.
A source must be independent of the article subject, and have an established reputation for fact-checking and editorial oversight. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 02:55, 23 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I made some changes to Kalpana Mohan article. But I can't seem to find a reliable citations for filmography. I can add the filmography informations if you help me to reliable citation links. And don't get upset over that your edits got reverted. All I can say that you are not familiar with our policies quite yet. If you look deep into my contributions, about twenty or thirty of my contributions got reverted when I was a newbie like you. I was only 15 years then. So I used to get very angry when someone reverted my edits. Actually it was pretty hard for me to bear with and I wasn't familiar with the policies either. So cheer up. Sincerely, Masum Reza 10:11, 26 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

It was created by mistake as I am not creating a new Kalpana Mohan page. But made a change to the existing page. Thank you Yashkkaryan (talk) 19:15, 28 April 2019 (UTC) Yash Aryan[reply]
