Speedy deletion nomination of New Haven I-5 class
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on New Haven I-5 class requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://steamlocomotive.com/hudson/?page=nynhh. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. [edit]Hello, I'm DAJF. I noticed that you made a change to an article, JNR Class C55, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of New Haven I-5 class
[edit]Hello Vu-0001,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged New Haven I-5 class for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source, probably infringing copyright.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

- Regarding Speedy Deletion
- Hello, Vu-0001. Thank you for helping to build Wikipedia-- the world's largest free content encyclopedia.
- I'm sorry, but this has been deleted as meeting one or more of the Categories for Speedy Deletion.
- Generally, articles are speedily deleted when there is no assertion of significance or they fall into things to avoid or what Wikipedia is not.
- Wikipedia is an encyclopedia-- subjects must meet notability guidelines with reliable sources providing verifiable information. That generally means someone unconnected with the subject needs to have written a great deal about the subject.
- Sometimes articles are deleted because they contain content copyrighted elsewhere. Such content can be used as a source of information, but the content here must be completely rewritten from scratch.
- Some articles contain material written in a promotional tone. These must often be written from scratch. They are vigorously deleted.
- Any content that is negative in tone and unsourced or which is disparaging will also be vigorously deleted.
- Any deficiencies with notability, sourcing, or things to avoid should be remedied before reposting as they can lead to repeated deletions.
- For test edits, click Vu-0001/sandbox
- If you want to try again, please use the Article Wizard to guide you through the creation process.
- You may find this tool useful: Google custom search
- If you reply to me on your talk page, please place {{replyto|dlohcierekim}} at the beginning of your reply.
If you have verifiable information from reliable sources that show subject does meet notability requirements Let me know.
CONTENT IN ARTICLES NEEDS TO BE RELIABLY SOURCED.
Just so you know JNR Class 8620 does not contain any references and has been moved
[edit]Hi there Vu-0001! I just wanted to let you know that I have moved JNR Class 8620 to Draft:JNR Class 8620 as it does not contain any references at this time. This allows you (and other editors should they choose) more time to work with improving the article as it could have been tagged for deletion without references. Thank you for the work you have done so far & please feel free to submit to AfC or move it back to the article namespace once reliable and independent references have been added and other improvements made. --TheSandDoctor (talk) 04:13, 9 May 2017 (UTC)

Copying licensed material requires proper attribution
[edit]Hi. I see in a recent addition to New Haven Class I-5 you included material from a webpage that is available under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported License. That's okay, but you have to give attribution so that our readers are made aware that you copied the prose rather than wrote it yourself. I've added the attribution for this particular instance. Please make sure that you follow this legal requirement when copying from compatibly-licensed material in the future. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 13:38, 12 July 2017 (UTC)

Your contributed article, JGR Class 160
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, JGR Class 160. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – JGR Class 150. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at JGR Class 150. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.
If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. — InsertCleverPhraseHere (or here) 10:36, 25 September 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to JGR Class 7010, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. The article JGR Class 7010 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
This is further beyond credible fixing than a blank page would be. (Part of a large cleanup)
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}

will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Andy Dingley (talk) 11:39, 26 September 2017 (UTC)

Continued creation of unacceptable articles.
[edit]You've just created another three articles:
All of which are near-identical, near-identical to the equally incorrect JGR Class 150 / JGR Class 160 that you created a few days ago. All claimed the same "first locomotive built in Japan" claim, which was no more correct now than it was then.
Creating fake article like this is not acceptable. Please explain - despite frequent warnings, we're still without any discussion or explanation from you. Please stop doing it, or else I will seek to have you blocked. Andy Dingley (talk) 23:56, 27 September 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not publish articles without citing a single source. Sources aren't optional. They are needed to verify the contents, and to establish notability of the subject. I have just PRODded three unsourced stubs, and I can see that there are more of your creation that are also unsourced. Please ensure that your articles are supported by sufficient reliable sources before publishing, otherwise incubate in your draft space until ready. Thank you. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 11:37, 18 April 2021 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Lehigh Valley K-5. Laplorfill (talk) 03:40, 24 April 2021 (UTC)

Blocked
[edit]{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
. - creation of many one-line stubs is disruptive. You are also required to communicate with other editors when issues are raised. You have chosen to ignore them. Having checked your contributions, it is apparent that you are capable of creating quality articles, so why all the stubs? Mjroots (talk) 08:05, 25 April 2021 (UTC)
- Re the block, "indefinite" does not mean "forever". I'm willing to unblock if you will commit to not creating stubs in the future and communicating with other editors when issues are raised. You've done good work in the past, which is to be encouraged. Mjroots (talk) 08:37, 26 April 2021 (UTC)
