License tagging for Image:1909-Stuntz.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:1909-Stuntz.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit]You have recently created a bunch of articles on rugby teams. They do not meet wikipedias standards. Before making naymore please see Wikipedia:Tutorial and Wikipedia:Manual of Style. They need to read like lists and have something that asserts their notability. --Tainter 02:37, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Fred Grabber, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template hangon
to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Realkyhick 06:20, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit]This image is likely to be deleted because you are mis-using a fair use image. You cannot put fair use images of the team, in articles about players - the people who are concerned about copyright will remove the image if it is overused in discussing topics other than the organisation which owns the logo (in this case, it would be appropriate for the NRL, NSWRL, and Sydney Roosters - but not for "minor" players of those teams / organisations).Garrie 00:09, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
Image tagging for Image:Fitler-56.JPG
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Fitler-56.JPG. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

Notability of Bruce Stewart(rugby league footballer
[edit]A tag has been placed on Bruce Stewart(rugby league footballer, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you feel that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add hangon
on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. andy 08:39, 28 April 2007 (UTC)

Hello Tricolours, an automated process has found an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, such as fair use. The image (Image:Sydney Roosters 2007.jpg) was found at the following location: User talk:Tricolours. This image or media will be removed per statement number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media will be replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. The image that was replaced will not be automatically deleted, but it could be deleted at a later date. Articles using the same image should not be affected by my edits. I ask you to please not re-add the image to your userpage and could consider finding a replacement image licensed under either the Creative Commons or GFDL license or released to the public domain. Thanks for your attention and cooperation. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 21:39, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
Hi Tricolours, could you fix something for me. The image mentioned above is Fair use, which means it can only be used at the articles given in the rationale. There are only two and the rest have to go, straight away unfortunately. If you could fix up these up by clicking on the image and checking the section "file links" at the page you can track them all down. I will fix a few, do you mind fixing the rest. It is pretty important by all accounts. Cheers ☻ Fred|☝ discussion|✍ contributions 20:10, 7 July 2007 (UTC)

Edit Summary & Previews
[edit]Please describe your edits with the Edit Summary box. It is located just above the Save button you use. This makes it easier to understand edits when reading the page's History of edits. Also, please use the Show preview button to enable you to combine edits and reduce the number of Saves that you do. This avoids bulking out the edit History with lots of small edits. The Show preview button is located just to the right of the Save button that you use. Thanks. Hu 17:09, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on L. Abott, by Tim Fellows (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because L. Abott fits the criteria for speedy deletion for the following reason:
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting L. Abott, please affix the template hangon to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 20:54, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

Arthur Katinas
[edit]Hey, I'm not sure whether you're still an active user, but this article already exists under Arthur Kitinas, which is the correct spelling of the name. I'm proposing deletion of this article and merging of any content (which isn't much at the moment) to that article, because he's definitely notable enough to stay. Thanks, Damanmundine1 (Talk) 09:32, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
Sorry about that, Kitinas. the other was a spelling mistake. so yes delete it. tricolours (talk) 06:06, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of Eastern Suburbs 1954 Season
[edit]A tag has been placed on Eastern Suburbs 1954 Season requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding hangon
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Easts articles
[edit]Hi Tricolours - I see you are working on adding Easts players' articles and I wonder if you can add a bit more when you are making up the page to save me, or someone else, having to edit the info in later? It'd be a great help! There are two templates that need to go on the discussion page of each article:

Just edit the info as needed.
Also, when you are doing your categories, would you mind using the default sort format? It's quicker than having to type the player name in each time:

There's a format for the Whiticker and Hudson that I copy and paste to save time and I notice you use the same book as a reference so you might find this handy:
==References== <small> * </small>

Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Tricolours! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 3 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 5 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the unreferencedBLP tag. Here is the list:
- Robert Laurie (rugby league) - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
- Corey Stewart - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL

The article 1972 Grand Final has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Unneeded unusual disambig.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Dicklyon (talk) 10:57, 8 January 2023 (UTC)
