Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. This was a non-notable biography according to the criteria set out in WP:BIO. You've just created the page MyVirtualHome. This page doesn't provide its sources, so at the moment there is no way to establish notability and verifiability. Please mention the sources you used in the article, or it's possible that the article might be deleted. --ais523 10:05, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article MyVirtualHome, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at its talk page. Removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, but the article may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. --ais523 11:12, 4 January 2007 (UTC)

I actually haven't played YS Flight, nor am I involved the YS community. That might appear to mean I have less right to edit this page than those individuals you mentioned, but I'd like to draw your attention to the Five Pillars of Wikipedia, and specifically the part of the 'free content' pillar about ownership of articles. In a nutshell, anyone is entitled to edit any article, and there is no such thing as a 'more qualified Wikipedian'. I realise that this fundamental policy applies to myself as well, and if you take a look back through the page history you should see that I have actually contributed very little new information to this page, instead trusting my fellow editors to know more about the topic than I do, which I believe is reflected in my talk page comments. Instead, my edits have been clerical: rewriting, re-ordering, formalising language and removing violations of WP:NPOV. Yes, I have made some bold edits that have upset some people, and I do regret that, but I stand by them because I believe the page is now much more worthy of the encyclopedia than it was, due in part to my input. I'd be happy to discuss this further with you. Tbone762 23:51, 5 May 2007 (UTC)
- I agree! Maybe I'll give it a look if I get a chance! Thanks for your comments, and thank you for being so polite as well. Hope to see you about on Wikipedia! Tbone762 11:49, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

Sandgate District State High School
[edit]Hello - I spotted your request to protect Sandgate District State High School. As the vandalism is from just two editors it's likely to be declined (although an admin will decide that). However, you can ask the vandals to stop by using user warnings (info) on their talk pages (this does get some people to stop). If that fails, you can report them to AIV where an admin will block them for you. Yours, h2g2bob (talk) 13:25, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

The article Freaky Fearless Fred has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Long unreferenced and hard to understand article about non-notable fictional character not mentioned in the article of the supposed inspiration of the work Tony Barber
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Sadads (talk) 09:35, 20 May 2011 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Moove
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Moove requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Alexf(talk) 18:16, 4 January 2012 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Moove requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
