Article construction
[edit]Well worth reading the intro material SatuSuro 09:50, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
Really, there should be one article for this plant, regardless of the spelling, not two... I changed yours to a redirect, so people who use this spelling will be redirected to the appropriate article, Tea tree, which does include both spellings in the opening sentence. Okay? -FisherQueen (Talk) 10:53, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. However, we remind you not to attack other editors, as you did here: Ti-tree. Please comment on the contributions and not the contributors. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. -FisherQueen (Talk) 11:03, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
Moved discussion
[edit]I've moved the discussion of Ti-tree to that article's talk page, since, as you point out, it shouldn't be limited to just the two of us. -FisherQueen (Talk) 11:26, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
Goldfishbowl
[edit]If you unaware - every single edit on wikipedia is traceable via google - so there is no room for anything that contravenes the main Wikipedia principles ofWP:NPA, WP:AGF and WP:Civility - well worth reading that - and if you cannot handle that, expect problems. If you have problems - try to keep your frustrations out of your edit summaries and talk messages - and seek help - there is plenty available if you look for it. cheers SatuSuro 12:02, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
- [1] you would be well advised not to repeat such a summary again. SatuSuro 12:04, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
If you do not understand
[edit]Warnings from admins should be taken into account and not ignored lightly - with good faith and not reverted. You might as well consider yourself blocked if you do revert an admins work SatuSuro 13:28, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
- You are another rule monkey. Get a life. -- Soonstart 13:55, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
No attacks, please
[edit]This sort of thing is not acceptable. You are coming very close to getting blocked for personal attacks - I would advise you to stop, and attempt to get along with your fellow editors. Regards, Riana ⁂ 14:07, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for making a simple effort into a living hell
[edit]I'm done now. I suppose you will rm that and it will never be read.
Thanks guys and gals, for making the simple difficult. You know, not everyone spends their every minute checking their "User" page, and looking for discussion about what seems to require no discussion. Some of us expect to just come here and quietly chip away at, you know, making a wiki and stuff. (Presumably you are all checking not only your own pages, but this one as well, so I won't have to come looking for you to let you know my feelings.)
The answer to the question "if a tree falls in the forest and no-one is near, does the tree make a sound" is obviously "only if the forest is a forest of wikipages and there are wikiadmins and wikiadmin-fanbois online, because they will be auditing the forest's every move 'just in case'" .. or something like that.
I mean, FFS do none of you see the joke. I create a page that has no links in towards it, no visitors clambering to get access, nothing. And yet you can't even let me finish writing it, before you simply wipe my work from the board. Not once, BUT MANY FRIGGING TIMES. You call yourself a wikiadmin, you should be de-balled if you support that style of work, and can't let a simple expression of frustration at unreasonable treatment stand. -- Soonstart 14:13, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
