Macoupin County
[edit]Thanks for working on the unincorporated communities of Macoupin County. I wonder if you've had a look at Miles Station, north and a bit east of Brighton? Like Anderson, Barr and Hagaman, it's listed in the Wikipedia article List of ghost towns in Illinois, but doesn't seem to be recognized elsewhere. It's not totally ghost -- there are a few houses and even named streets -- but it's also not as identifiable or functional or large as, say, Piasa or Plainview. Just curious. In any case, keep up the good work! Barefoot through the chollas (talk) 14:57, 19 May 2021 (UTC)
Wilson Heights, Illinois moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Wilson Heights, Illinois, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Regarding revert to Madison County, Illinois
[edit]hi! I reverted your large edit in this page as I feel like while a list of all places in Madison County might be possible, I think a list of populated places lacking articles may instead be brought up to a wikiproject like WP:WikiProject Illinois as pages to consider creation. I believe it also falls under WP:INDISCRIMINATE, which states that data should be put in context with explanations referenced to independent sources. As explained in § Encyclopedic content above, merely being true, or even verifiable, does not automatically make something suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia.
, however I may be wrong. (I am not watching this page, so please ping me if you want my attention.) ◎ | melecie | t 01:51, 1 June 2021 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for June 5
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Williamson County, Illinois, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Blairsville, Illinois. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
