Terrific, short and sweet.

The article you nominated to become a good article has passed the criteria necessary to accomplish the said feat. It has become the 334th good "road infrastructure" article, as seen on the good article page listed above. Great work! Hello32020 (talk) 21:49, 11 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Re:1 week warning...

[edit]

Thanks for the heads up, but it's alright, I redid the code to handle articles being in up to 4 topics when we first discussed this waaaaaay back in time. Glad to see you're fulfilling the plans though! :) rst20xx (talk) 23:05, 15 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Oh bloody hell. I don't think the system can take any more. Well it could but the code would just be horrifically long and also beyond 4 I think there will be a bit of a debate as to whether this is right or not. I think we need to work together to work out a solution to this - rst20xx (talk) 11:39, 17 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is for your marvelous improvements to SR-103 that bring it up to the caliber of NYSR articles; I appreciate the time you've taken away from New York to help us out here on this article. Thanks again - CL17:09, 16 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Re:A few important NJ routes still need help

[edit]

It won't hurt for me to do some more help for New Jersey. At the current time, GAN has a long backlog and I have nothing to really rush for with the County Challenge, as no one else seems to really be participating. Dough4872 (talk) 00:23, 17 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for giving me the list of articles that need to be worked on. Dough4872 (talk) 17:45, 17 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

WP:NYSR inactivity check

[edit]

Hello, Mitchazenia. You are receiving this message because you are listed on the participant list of WP:NYSR. I am conducting an inactivity check on behalf of the project to see if the project still has an active editor base. The status column on the participant list will be cleared today, and to remain a listed member of the project, you must update your status on the participant list (preferably using the terms "Active", "Semi-active", or "Inactive") which is located here. Those who do not update their status after one week (by the night of June 25) and those who put inactive as their status will be removed from the list. If you have any questions, please leave a message on my talk page or at the "A smorgasbord of topics" section on WT:NYSR. Thank you for your understanding and your time. – TMF 12:30, 18 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

County Route 236 (Onondaga County, New York) has been nominated for deletion. If you would like to participate in the discussion, please comment at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/County Route 236 (Onondaga County, New York). Cunard (talk) 17:09, 18 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated County Route 35 (Warren County, New York), an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/County Route 35 (Warren County, New York). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Sure, but...

[edit]

I'll agree to him reviewing your GA's, however myself of another judge will go through to see if the review was accurate, and everything checks out. As long as they are "good" reviews, I don't see a problem with it, being that nobody else will review them. – (iMatthew • talk) at 18:29, 23 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It'd be better if you did, IMO. Just let him know that he can review these again, but I'll be checking his reviews. – (iMatthew • talk) at 18:36, 23 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Re:WikiCup

[edit]

Thanks for letting me know that. I had really wanted to review your GAN's to clear the almost two-month-long backlog for transport articles. I will make sure to look at every aspect clearly and not just push them through. However, I cannot review some of them I have made major contributions to, such as Maryland Route 284 and Pennsylvania Route 737 (I actually created 737 a long time ago as a stub). By the way, I have been working on improving NJ articles. Dough4872 (talk) 18:46, 23 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Book for NJ Highways

[edit]

We can continue to work on making the book for NJ highways. However, I am not sure if its going to be possible to get every route's article to GA-class. There are some very short routes such as New Jersey Route 59 that seem impossible to expand to get to GA. I will try my best though to get as many articles as I can to GA. Dough4872 (talk) 22:58, 23 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I see you have been working on improving a few NJ articles too. Are you going to nominate them for GA? By the way, a couple things still need to be addressed before I can promote County Route 149 (Sullivan County, New York) to GA. See the GA review of that article for more information. [edit]

I assume the book you're referring to is Bridges over the Delaware River? If so, I'm afraid I can't help. No obituary or death notice appeared in any of the papers whose archive I can access for this time period. In my opinion, there's no particular problem with referencing the book, but if you desperately want another cite for the material your best bet is to find a local newspaper that was publishing in the period. You'll have a heck of a time finding anything that way, though; if you're not in the area I don't recommend attempting it. Cool3 (talk) 04:10, 28 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"Trolling" in RFAs

[edit]

Hi. I'm posting here to request that you refrain from such edits as this. It is the consensus among more and more Wikipedians that applying such labels, even in cases where they are accurate, tends to increase the heat, add fuel to fires, and distract from the project of encyclopedia-building, or in this case, approving an admin candidate. Regarding "oppose" votes in RFAs, please consider what is written at WP:TYFYV. If you want to discuss this, I'm certainly willing to do that. Just let me know. Thanks. -GTBacchus(talk) 17:05, 4 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
