Information icon Hello, I'm Sumanuil. I noticed that you recently removed content from 2022 FIFA World Cup without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. - Sumanuil. Copa América articles

[edit]

Do not restore MOS-violating revisions, as you did at Copa América Centenario final. WP:USPLACE is a naming convention that primarily deals with article titles, not their use within articles. On the other hand, linking to United States (and dropping the article in some situations) are not permitted under MOS:OLINK and other parts of the MOS. SounderBruce 21:54, 25 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright problem icon One of your recent edits has been removed in whole or in part, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for information on how to contribute your work appropriately. For legal reasons, Wikipedia strictly cannot host copyrighted text or images from print media or digital platforms without an appropriate and verifiable license. Contributions infringing on copyright will be removed. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of content, such as sentences or images—you must write using your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously, and persistent violators of our copyright policy will be blocked from editing. See Wikipedia:Copying text from other sources for more information. All the images you uploaded on Common are obvious copy right violations. They will all be deleted. Since you are already blocked from the spanish wikipedia, next time you upload obviously copyrighted material. I'll report to get blocked here as well. Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at North American SuperLiga, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 20:01, 31 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Edit summaries with "It is prohibited to delete, modify or reverse said edition" hold no water

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to assume ownership of articles, as you did at 2026 FIFA World Cup, you may be blocked from editing. Behavior such as this is regarded as disruptive, and is a violation of Wikipedia policy. The statement "It is prohibited to reverse, modify or delete..." in your edit summary indicates an improper feeling of ownership. As noted by C.Fred above, you irrevocably license all edits under CC-BY-SA 4.0, which means that other editors may make edits to reverse, modify, or delete your contributions. Continued use of such edit summaries may lead to restriction or removal of your editing privileges. — Jkudlick ⚓ (talk) 15:00, 2 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
