Spam via Wikipedia
I was told you suggested a spammer to spam across several talkpages and now even via email, is it true? --Vituzzu (talk) 22:11, 9 September 2011 (UTC)
- I guessed so, in his last message to me he stated "Kante4 mi ha consigliato di mandare a tutti email invece di messaggi su wikipedia, ma mi pare ancora più invadente" which means "Kante4 suggested me to send to everybody emails instead of messages via talkpages, but, to me, that would be more intrusive". --Vituzzu (talk) 22:54, 9 September 2011 (UTC)
Hello
I just thought I'd let you know that I say your article Cycling at the 2011 All-Africa Games in the New Articles list--The layout of the article makes it very clear. However, I think the article seems to contain a few errors -- the article currently does not contain any references. As a new article, the most important thing is to find reliable references for all existing information. Jipinghe (talk) 21:30, 13 September 2011 (UTC)
Swimming at the 2011 Pacific Games
Hi. On August 29, 2011 ( http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Swimming_at_the_2011_Pacific_Games&diff=next&oldid=447384907 ) you edited that Lara Grangeons 200m backstroke time is a record. What kind of record? National? Pacific Games record? Do you have a source? Thank you. Montell 74 (talk) 10:25, 18 September 2011 (UTC)
- Do you have a link? I can't find this information neither here [1] nor here [2]. I will remove it, because it's unclear.Montell 74 (talk) 19:45, 18 September 2011 (UTC)
Hello Kante. I will be busy during the Real Madrid match today. Can you live update the wiki page? Bobby (talk) 07:58, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
- Alright thanks! Hopefully they'll finish with a better result this time haha. Bobby (talk) 08:09, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
Boxing Champs
Hi, I changed it, becouse my pdf is edited during boxing championships and your one isn't. Look: http://88.85.4.2/pdf/000079/C75W49.PDF and http://aiba.org/documents/site1/Events/2011/WCH/DrawSheets/C75W49.pdf . In first one, there is 'in progress'. I think that my pdf is better than yours, becouse it shows results. I will change this link. Mareczek25 (talk) 11:41, 28 September 2011 (UTC)
EHF Champions League
Hello!
The Women's Champions League will begin tonight, but the group stage section is yet to set up. I just would like to ask – since you're the one who take care of it the most, and have a good experience in sport articles – if do you think a sub-article is neccessary for the group stage? Unlike in the men's competition there's only four clubs in the group so they play significantly less matches, which might not require to divide the article, but could keep all the competition in one page. However, there may be other reasons for a subpage. What do you think? -- Thehoboclown (talk) 10:16, 30 September 2011 (UTC)
- Well, it seems you have divided it :) Well done, was bad to see that the article is stuck at that level and noone develops it. Actually, it's out of question from now, but I'd totally rely on you in this question, so I'm good with it. -- Thehoboclown (talk) 09:13, 2 October 2011 (UTC)
- Hello! If I get you right you talk about the sub-article, which currently covers the results of the group stage in depth? Well, it will be definitely good to put all these things into a sub-article and yes, really not so much to create a completely new page for this. So yes, I'd say to put it into the existing article. However, I'm not sure about the name. The next part of the Champions League is called Main Round, so a title like '2011–12 EHF Women's Champions League group stage and main round' would be a more precise one in my opinion. – Thehoboclown (talk) 10:31, 15 November 2011 (UTC)
- It looks great, just made some small corrections. I'm glad that you take care for the CL articles. A big thanks for it :) – Thehoboclown (talk) 16:02, 15 November 2011 (UTC)

Infobox Volleyball
What do you think about the changes that have been doing this user at volleyball players articles like Nancy Metcalf. He have been also including "The 2011 World Cup Roster" in every participating National team, like Brazil. I really don't want to start a "conversation" with him, neither an editwarring or bite him like the newbie he is, I mean, he doesn't even know what a ref is! Oscar 01:14, 15 November 2011 (UTC)

Women's World Handball Championship 2011
Thanks for the cleanup and for the hbw template I did not know about. May I add the rest of the squads and let you do the cleanup that may be required afterwards? 2011 CTF Women's Circuit Santiago
Kante could you be so kind and delete this page completely, because I have found a name for the tournament and so my 'inofficial' name I have given the tournament is obsolete. Thanks for doing that Catgamer (talk) 18:08, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
- I have already created a new page with the right name, so there only needs to be a deletion of the page '2011 CTF Women's Circuit Santiago'. Thanks for helping me with this task.Catgamer (talk) 18:13, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks for redirecting, I hope I did not bother you to much.Catgamer (talk) 18:18, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
- Sorry to ask once more, but will the page that you recently redirected be deleted in the future or will it stay in that way for all time?Catgamer (talk) 18:22, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
So there is no possibility to delete pages on Wikipedia?Catgamer (talk) 18:23, 9 December 2011 (UTC)

Karim Benzema fastest ever El Clásico goal
Just to let you know I edited the mistake you made on the Karim Benzema page 2011-12 season section. You said that he scored the 22-second goal on 12 December 2011, which is clearly wrong because that date is in the future, it hasn't even happened yet.I think you meant to say 10 December 2011 but I corrected it anyway. GreenPuffle92 (talk) 23:40, 10 December 2011 (UTC)
Odom
There's probably some tentative agreement in place, but I'd still like to wait until the team releases an official press release that confirms the deal is done. Zagalejo^^^ 21:03, 11 December 2011 (UTC)
- The ref you used says he has "48 hours to report to Dallas once the transaction is official". So it's not done yet. Can't we just wait for a press release? Zagalejo^^^ 21:06, 11 December 2011 (UTC)
- Sorry to be a stickler, but I want to be consistent when it comes to this stuff. Deals do fall through sometimes. Zagalejo^^^ 21:09, 11 December 2011 (UTC)
- The Carter deal is listed at NBA.com, so we're good to go. Are there any sources available for his jersey number? Someone edited the article to say it would be 25, but I don't know if they're just guessing, or what. Zagalejo^^^ 09:45, 13 December 2011 (UTC)

2011 Packers season
We should generally refrain from updating game statistics as they happen. Wikipedia isn't a news service and it is less confusing for readers if the entire game is added at the end. Ryan Vesey Review me! 23:52, 11 December 2011 (UTC)

Tagging NBA articles/templates with Basketball
Hey just a heads up that tagging articles and templates (such as Template:2011–12 Atlanta Hawks season game log) is not within the scope of WP:Basketball. That WikiProject is specific to international basketball, high school basketball, and basketball not found within the auspices of WikiProject College Basketball or WP:NBA. It's double-dipping when NBA templates are also clogging up Basketball categories. Thank you. Jrcla2 (talk) 23:13, 19 December 2011 (UTC)
