New articles
Hello, may I ask why you create drafts and request for them to be moved into the mainspace? You can create drafts in your own sandbox and move them into the mainspace. It is a travesty that Draft:Cry Macho (film) is not an article based on the declining editor's false reasoning. Erik (talk | contrib) (ping me) 20:55, 25 November 2020 (UTC)
- That's a great question @Erik. I do it because (1), my sandbox already has a draft, and (2), it has a saved history from past drafts. At the moment, I'm thinking about nominating my sandbox for speedy deletion and creating a new one, that doesn't have a history. Some Dude From North Carolinawanna talk? 00:14, 26 November 2020 (UTC)
- Create more sandboxes (e.g. User:Some Dude From North Carolina/sandbox2, User:Some Dude From North Carolina/sandbox3, etc.), and just cut-paste the content across from your sandbox to the article? -- /Alex/21 00:32, 26 November 2020 (UTC)
-
- Alex is partly right. You can create a sandbox page with any title, like you could have created User:Some Dude From North Carolina/Cry Macho (film). However, I would advise against cutting and pasting. You can move the article from your sandbox to the mainspace yourself, preserving the page history. The sandbox page will become a redirect link, and you can add the {{db-author}} template to delete it. From my experience, the draft space is more for collaboration where no one editor is developing a topic on their own (e.g., Marvel Cinematic Universe films that haven't started filming). Erik (talk | contrib) (ping me) 00:45, 26 November 2020 (UTC)
- Some Dude From North Carolina, Erik and in case there is any redirect already there with the title where you want to move the completed userspace/mainspace article, you just need to ask for a G6 deletion that it is holding a move and it must be deleted. Since you're a good & an experienced editor, you should not submit articles through AfC. We have already so much backlog. ─ The Aafī (talk) 16:10, 27 November 2020 (UTC)

All My Puny Sorrows (film) moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, All My Puny Sorrows (film), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Shazam! Film - Zachary Levi On Set 2018 - By Steve Wilkie.jpg
Thank you for uploading File:Shazam! Film - Zachary Levi On Set 2018 - By Steve Wilkie.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 19:02, 5 January 2021 (UTC)

BTH seasons
I see that drafts for BTH seasons exist and you've been updating them. Would it be appropriate to make their season articles, but not a "List of episodes page" since it doesn't have enough? So there will be main articles in the series overview but not to an individual list of episodes yet. CartoonnewsCP (talk) 06:34, 6 January 2021 (UTC)
- @CartoonnewsCP: Usually, a "list of episodes" articles comes first, and that pretty much means you're now free to split the article into seasons. So, I would wait until this show gets renewed with a 3rd, or even 4th season, and then focus on season articles, and maybe, even some notable episodes. Jeepers Creepers
Hello Some Dude From North Carolina, I did a look over of your GA nomination of Jeepers Creepers (2001 film) and I found some things I think you should work on so that it passes nomination. When I was looking over the production section I noticed that it would really benefit from a rewrite as the development section is not directly based on information confirmed by the filmmakers. I suggest looking on the structuring of other GA articles for guidance on how everything should be worded and structured. My work on Begotten might also prove helpful for you just to show how structuring and wording things should be like. You do not have to follow my format of sourcing in Begotten, but the Refname input should be more specific. For example "Refname=RedHerring" should honestly be changed to the author's last name and the publication date. These are just a little suggestions to help you on your road to have it pass GA status. Keep up the great work and happy editing!--Paleface Jack (talk) 20:51, 9 January 2021 (UTC)

Comments: Hey, I wanted to reach out after the comments I made today at your FL nomination. I know my comments were probably nitpicky and seem unnecessary; I've just heard about minimum list lengths in the past, and I felt it would be a bit dishonest for me to not talk about a potential issue others had mentioned before. I want to make sure featured lists continue to display Wikipedia's best work, and to me, that means ensuring FL nominees are vetted as thoroughly as possible. For what it's worth, your work on the list (particularly sourcing) is really good, and once this issue is cleared up, I'd be more than happy to support this nomination. If you ever need any help with this nomination, let me know and I'll help where I can. RunningTiger123 (talk) 03:46, 20 January 2021 (UTC)

Donkeyhead
Hi! I moved the article you created to Draft:Donkeyhead as it was undersourced. Films need to have significant coverage by independent, reliable sources to have a standalone article, and there is only one published article that is sourced. All sources that I saw look like they were derivative of the Deadline article, thus are not independent. Please continue to add to the draft when the subject receives more coverage, then submit the article for creation. Read more about what is expected for future films to have articles at WP:NFF. Let me know if you have any questions! BOVINEBOY2008 00:24, 23 January 2021 (UTC)

Your GA nomination of Dunces and Dragons
The article Dunces and Dragons you nominated as a good article has been placed on hold . The article is close to meeting the good article criteria, but there are some minor changes or clarifications needing to be addressed. If these are fixed within 7 days, the article will pass; otherwise it may fail. See Talk:Dunces and Dragons for issues which need to be addressed. Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. Thanks! Orphaned non-free image File:Gio Benitez.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Gio Benitez.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Replaceable fair use File:Gio Benitez.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Gio Benitez.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the file description page and add the text
{{Di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}}
below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing<your reason>
with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable. - On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 14:48, 27 January 2021 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on File:Quentin Tarantino - Motherhood - Filming.jpeg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a non-free file with a clearly invalid licensing tag; or it otherwise fails some part of the non-free content criteria. If you can find a valid tag that expresses why the file can be used under the fair use guidelines, please replace the current tag with that tag. If no such tag exists, please add the {{Non-free fair use}} tag, along with a brief explanation of why this constitutes fair use of the file. If the file has been deleted, you can re-upload it, but please ensure you place the correct tag on it.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Whpq (talk) 14:50, 27 January 2021 (UTC)

Ebs Akintade
Dear Some Dude From North Carolina, you have deleted my Wikipedia Page: Ebs Akintade. I am a notable Presenter and Host on British Radio and TV and have only just realised it has gone. What can I do to return the page? I have links to all the work that I’ve done and these were not cited before. Ebuaki (talk) 07:17, 31 January 2021 (UTC)
- @Ebuaki: I didn't delete your page. The article was nominated for deletion because it didn't meet the criteria found at WP:BIO, and was deleted per consensus with other Wikipedians. Wikipedia articles are generally made on people who have done something considered "notable", such as Albert Einstein or Tom Holland. There have to be secondary sources covering the person in-depth, and there also have to be a substantial amount of citations to reliable pieces of information. I recommend waiting a bit, finding a way to get coverage from the media, and then creating an article with the Wikipedia:Article wizard. M. Night Shyamalan filmography
Hello Some Dude From North Carolina, I am writing to ask you for help writing a correct introduction in Draft:M. Night Shyamalan filmography as I am not a native speaker and my English is not perfect. If you can do it, I would be very grateful to you. My intention is later to nominate it for a featured article, what do you think? Bruno Rene Vargas (talk) 08:15, 10 February 2021 (UTC)
- @Bruno Rene Vargas: Thanks for the request! I'm happy to help by writing the introduction to the draft. However, I'll be busy today due to "work" and other stuff, so I'll have to do it tomorrow. But, nonetheless, I will do it when I have time as my 1st priority. Some Dude From North Carolinawanna talk? 13:40, 10 February 2021 (UTC)

- @Bruno Rene Vargas: I'm about to add references to the lead. With that done, and some references being manually archived, I think it would absolutely be ready for FA. Some Dude From North Carolinawanna talk? 22:04, 11 February 2021 (UTC)

- @Bruno Rene Vargas: I guess you can now nominate it to become a Featured List (FA). The instruction to do so are located here, and you can add me as a co-nominator if you want. With the current state of the article, it is possible that the article will achieve FL-status soon and that it will have a tiny star () by its title. Good luck. Some Dude From North Carolinawanna talk? 00:59, 12 February 2021 (UTC)
- @Bruno Rene Vargas: Dude. Why the change to blue columns? It was good the way it was, and no other articles have columns like that. Can you revert it back to how it was? Some Dude From North Carolinawanna talk? 13:05, 12 February 2021 (UTC)
- I made this modification because I had already written and edited this article on Wikipedia in Spanish and it was approved as a good article without any problem. I do not understand what the problem is that it looks different from the other existing articles. Also, wasn't it easier to just go to the version where you made your last edit instead of reverting my edits one by one?. Bruno Rene Vargas (talk) 13:30, 12 February 2021 (UTC)
- @Bruno Rene Vargas: It's just that the FA nomination had a reviewer who had problems with the table, and most articles on the English Wikipedia which have achieved FA-status normally have regular tables. Furthermore, I don't know how to revert more than a single edit at a time. Some Dude From North Carolinawanna talk? 13:34, 12 February 2021 (UTC)
- Well, the process of manually reverting several edits at once is very easy, you just have to see the history and click on the date and time of your last edit, in this particular case your last modification before I modified the columns was this. Once there, simply press edit, then press save and voila, you avoid all those unnecessary investments. Greetings. Bruno Rene Vargas (talk) 13:44, 12 February 2021 (UTC)

Draft:Anya Taylor-Joy filmography
Hi Dude, again I come to request your help. When you have time you can write the introduction of Draft: Anya Taylor-Joy filmography, I did it but copying a lot of unmodified text from the main article and I have been notified about it. Greetings. Bruno Rene Vargas (talk) 04:12, 14 February 2021 (UTC)
- @Bruno Rene Vargas: Will do! Thanks for the request. Some Dude From North Carolinawanna talk? 14:14, 14 February 2021 (UTC)
- @Bruno Rene Vargas: Actually, looking at the article and the draft, I'll have to pass on writing the introduction for a single reason. I find that the filmography article would be too short and that creating it wouldn't be reasonable. The Anya Taylor-Joy article is barely 50KB, and the page is only #Early_life and #Career before getting to her films and awards (see Kumail Nanjiani and Bo Burnham as examples of 50KB articles that haven't been split probably due to the same issue). Hope you can understand my reasoning, and why I don't think I should write the introduction since the article is quite small. Some Dude From North Carolinawanna talk? 16:11, 14 February 2021 (UTC)
- Ok, no problem, I understand. You could at least move Draft: Anya Taylor-Joy filmography to Anya Taylor-Joy filmography because I have already removed all the text that I had copied and just left the filmography itself. If you move the article you are free to redirect it again until her acting career is long enough to merit filmography. Bruno Rene Vargas (talk) 16:33, 14 February 2021 (UTC)
- And what do you think of Bong Joon-ho filmography? Do you think you can write the introduction? Bruno Rene Vargas (talk) 16:36, 14 February 2021 (UTC)

DYK for Motherhood (ER)
On 1 March 2021, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Motherhood (ER), which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Quentin Tarantino directed a Mother's Day–themed episode of ER after being encouraged to do so by George Clooney? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Motherhood (ER). You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Motherhood (ER)), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (ie, 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

List of produced films included in The Black List
Hello Some Dude From North Carolina, I would like to ask you again for your help and this time to write a better introduction in List of produced films included in The Black List because it is very short and it would be better if I had a slightly more elaborate introduction. I just want you to improve the introduction and clarify that the dates correspond to the first screening of the film, regardless of whether they were released at festivals, cinemas or via streaming. Meanwhile, I will continue to extend the list that is missing hundreds of films. I want to take this opportunity and ask you if it would be better to divide the list by decades, for example divide List of produced films included in The Black List in List of produced films included in The Black List (2006–2009) and List of produced films included in The Black List (2010–2020), what do you think? Bruno Rene Vargas (talk) 00:52, 6 March 2021 (UTC)
- @Bruno Rene Vargas: Happy to be working again with you again! I'll be glad to write the introduction. On the topic of the naming, I believe that a division in decades would be better to have consistency with other articles. List of Warner Bros. films (1918–1929) is a great example, as the company didn't start in a ##00 year, and can be merged with the following decade. I suggest making three articles, titled List of produced films included in The Black List (2006–2009), List of produced films included in The Black List (2010–2019), and List of produced films included in The Black List (2020–2029). Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 01:17, 6 March 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you very much again for the predisposition. I totally agree with your proposal because if we don't divide it by decades the lists will be too long. I even think that in the future, when all the films are listed and with a good introduction we can present it for a featured list. Bruno Rene Vargas (talk) 02:07, 6 March 2021 (UTC)

The Walking Dead
Hey there. I'm thinking a talk page discussion might be worth having about this. The show has more than 20 credited producers for the episode, the three listed in the article are just some of them. Any one credited as a producer, whether it be "consulting producer", "co-executive producer" or just "producer", can be said to have produced the episode. These are just titles that serve as a hierarchy and promotion system primarily for the writers. You go from co-producer, to producer, to co-executive producer, and so on. Generally, most shows will have an actual "produced by" credit (aka line producer) which goes to the person in charge of production. Looking at the three names you've chosen, Deiboldt and Tse are writers who are simply at the "producer" hierarchy level, and Degard (after research) is in charge of post-production. Corey Reed, the co-writer of this episode, is a co-executive producer (he's higher up on the hierarchy among the writers) but is missing from the producers list in the article. The main issue is that infobox states "produced by" (which is a different credit) and not simply "producers". Drovethrughosts (talk) 14:17, 9 March 2021 (UTC)
- @Drovethrughosts: Not much to discuss. Per the episode-article template on Wikipedia, we should only "include the show runner(s)" of the episode/series, so if you want, you can add them yourself. Thanks for bringing it up. Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 14:23, 9 March 2021 (UTC)
