Welcome and a note

[edit]

Hi there. Welcome. I wanted to suggest taking care on Miss Afghanistan. While a reliable source does allow for inclusion of the information on the set index article, it's still important not to stray into WP:edit warring, even if you believe you are in the right. At this point, I'd suggest starting a discussion on the talk page to seek consensus. I hope this helps. —siroχo 04:13, 18 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you DWashingtonn (talk) 07:01, 18 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I kinda asked the person name Jonny I believe to not remove my edits as we are working on the article to be translated to English but instead I got treated that he will block me from editing I thought only admins can give warnings. But thank you for your advice really appreciate you DWashingtonn (talk) 07:08, 18 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Both of you are edit warring. Any editor can warn for disruptive behavior. An admin can then carry out a block. One more time: write the article first. Once an article is accepted for publication, then you can add it to the Miss Afghanistan page. • Gene93k (talk) 12:39, 18 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Can you help me with the article or where can I put requests for the article to be written or translated from different language thank you DWashingtonn (talk) 20:48, 18 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Please note that Bahari Ibaadat has been deleted from Wikipedia multiple times, including twice by editor consensus (in 2016 and just 5 weeks ago). The Bahari Ibaadat title is indefinitely blocked from recreation by administrators. The best approach is to ask an admin at requests for undeletion to restore to draft space at Draft:Bahari Ibaadat, where it can be worked on. The article will need substantial improvement before it can be returned to main space. Most important, the subject needs multiple non-trivial reliable source references, that the most recent versions lacked. In the mean time, Bahari Ibaadat should stay off the Miss Afghanistan page until an article is approved for publication. • Gene93k (talk) 21:46, 18 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Ok thank you how do I make the request from the admin because I have all the sources that is needed DWashingtonn (talk) 03:18, 21 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I have declined your undeletion request. You can start over from scratch in draft space. See WP:AFC for instructions. But do not make any further edits anywhere until you address the concern below. ~Anachronist (talk) 04:34, 21 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
How can I start from scratch if the it’s not approved for me to creat draft for the article DWashingtonn (talk) 04:58, 21 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Mandatory paid editing disclosure

[edit]
Information icon

Hello DWashingtonn. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:DWashingtonn. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=DWashingtonn|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. ~Anachronist (talk) 04:32, 21 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I’m not working for anyone and nor am I promoting or getting pay for my edits DWashingtonn (talk) 04:35, 21 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You have written as if you are representing Bahari Ibaadat, using the term "we" to describe the efforts of a group. You need to answer: Who is "we"? And what exactly is your association with Bahari Ibaadat? ~Anachronist (talk) 04:38, 21 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I apologize most be typo I meant to write I and my association with Bahari Ibaadat is none but I just want to challenge myself by working on this article to improve myself thanks sir DWashingtonn (talk) 04:42, 21 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You referred to "we" twice so far.[1][2] - that is why I asked. It is OK to work in a group editing in the subject's behalf, but this must be clearly disclosed.
You may want to contact User:Liz about restoring the deleted article to draft space for you to improve. Even if you must start afresh without using the deleted version, you must then follow WP:AFC to submit it for review. I don't see a problem doing this, but I am reluctant to override the decision of another administrator. ~Anachronist (talk) 04:57, 21 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you I’ll do as you advise DWashingtonn (talk) 05:00, 21 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked as a sockpuppet

[edit]
Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively as a sockpuppet of User:ILAnhisM per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/ILAnhisM. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
