[edit]December 2022
[edit]Hello, I'm Leventio. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to List of North American light rail systems by ridership have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. All the US and Canadian LRT figures come from the APTA 2019 report. If you have an issue with the sourcing and want to propose a change (that has been contested), bring this discussion to the talk page instead of trying to spark an edit war with the existing content (per WP:BRD). Links to draft articles
[edit]Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to List of largest shopping centres in Canada. Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 11:34, 9 April 2023 (UTC)

Your draft article, Draft:Cascade Shops
[edit]Hello, CnekYT. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or draft page you started, "Cascade Shops".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply and remove the {{db-afc}}
, {{db-draft}}
, or {{db-g13}}
code.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Indexing
[edit]Hi, I saw your edit to 69 Street station (Calgary) that, besides other changes, added the INDEX magic word.
I removed that with an explanation, but I noticed you did it to some other articles as well so I thought I'd come here to mention it properly and save you the effort:
- The thing is, according to WP:INDEXING not only is every article older than 90 days already indexed by default, but according to WP:INDEXING#Other_namespaces_and_robots.txt both the INDEX and NOINDEX magic words have literally no effect on articles and drafts. – 2804:F14:809C:9001:40B8:9DB3:208F:16FD (talk) 03:07, 20 February 2024 (UTC)
Hi, thank you for your contributions. I've undone a number of good faith edits you've made to Edmonton and Calgary station articles. Please note:
- Naming convention for these is "Foo station", not "Foo Station"
- The addition of a parent category is unnecessary when a subcategory is already listed. For example, Category:Light rail stations in Canada is already implied if Category:CTrain stations is present
- Edmonton Valley Line LRT stops are known as "stop", not "station"

Disambiguation link notification for October 6
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Southwood, Calgary, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Encampment. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 07:54, 6 October 2024 (UTC)
Addition of Crime sections
[edit]I see you've added dozens of edits which add a crime section. I ask that you stop with those edits, and refrain from reasserting any reverts without discussing them. I've checked three of them, and I assume the rest are the same: reporting crime statistics from various Calgary suburbs and comparing them to other areas in Calgary. I reverted all three because they go against Wikipedia's rejection of original research. In order to qualify for inclusion in articles, edits should rely on reliable secondary sources to indicate the significance of reporting the primary sourced stats, and to draw comparisons to the other areas mentioned. If I have time, I may revert all the others as well; or other editors may do that. Again, please don't procede without discussion. I mostly patrol recent changes and tidy things up, so I don't know how it would be for editors that make substantial contributions to have a large part of their work reverted. But it happens, and I can imagine it's disappointing. I hope it doesn't discourage you from continuing with the many improvements you have been making. Cheers. signed, Willondon (talk) 20:24, 6 October 2024 (UTC)
