Welcome!

Hello, Arthistorian1977, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Vardi kahana, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may not be retained.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{help me}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Bazj (talk) 10:31, 11 January 2015 (UTC)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Vardi kahana requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Bazj (talk) 10:31, 11 January 2015 (UTC)

You need to add some references to the article to make your claims "credible". This is doubly important for biographies of living people. If you go to preferences (link at the top of the page), then gadgets, and turn on ProveIt you'll find it a lot easier to add references. Bazj (talk) 11:11, 11 January 2015 (UTC)

Hello, Arthistorian1977. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Vardi Kahana, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 11:48, 11 January 2015 (UTC)

Hi. There are three issues with this article: Firstly you can't unfortunately simply translate an article from another Wiki without including the attribution on the talk page, after all, the article was someone else's work. Secondly the article is totally unsourced and that is almost a reason for an immediate deletion for a BLP on en.Wiki. We are very strict here about sources for BLPs - far stricter than other Wikipedias. Finally, it appears that she is notable for only one thing: winning an award, and that award on its own is not enough. On Wikipedia being famous does not necessarily equate to being notable. What we need here are multiple, independent, reliable sources such as articles about her in the established press. For more information please see WP:CREATIVE. --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 12:20, 11 January 2015 (UTC)

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Tamír Triad has been reverted.
Your edit here to Tamír Triad was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://coolingpearls.wordpress.com/2009/10/28/the-tamir-triad-by-lynn-flewelling/) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited William Christie (musician), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Buffalo. This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/Society_&_Culture/Herzliyamuse.html.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. Replaceable fair use File:Sajan Prakash.jpeg

Thanks for uploading File:Sajan Prakash.jpeg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fut.Perf. 17:06, 15 February 2015 (UTC)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/Society_&_Culture/Herzliyamuse.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

Proposed deletion of Glimpses: A Collection of Nightrunner Short Stories

The article Glimpses: A Collection of Nightrunner Short Stories has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No secondary sources, just a library database entry and a LiveJournal. Fails WP:NBOOK.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Speedy deletion nomination of Johann Paul Keller

Thanks for your message. I see your point, I thought that there we enough references on Wikipedia to his work that makes the stub relevant enough. I can understand that the texts seem promotional, that was not my intention. I'll leave the decision up to you. I am of course willing to write more on the person if you think that the relevance is high enough. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Martsniez (talkcontribs) 13:03, 24 March 2015 (UTC)

speedy A1; vandalism

A1, no context , is only for use when it is impossible to identify the subject of the article. I therefore removed your nomination of Cold War Tensions and the Polio Vaccine, because it's clearly about polio vaccine. However, it probably does duplicate content in other articles, and hat needs to be checked. DGG ( talk ) 15:03, 25 March 2015 (UTC)

Tayub naveed is not vandalism. Adding an article on a non-notableperson, even for the second time, is not an attempt to damage the encyclopedia. Vandalism is a very strong word, and should not be used except for more serious cases.

Please re-read carefully WP:CSD--the various criteria are interpreted narrowly. DGG ( talk ) 15:18, 25 March 2015 (UTC) DGG ( talk ) 15:18, 25 March 2015 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Ivan Buyan

I would like to discuss remove a page dedicated to Ivan Buyan. He is one of the most famous Ukrainian rappers, his concerts were held in every major city in Ukraine and Belarus and Russia. His latest video gained more than 100,000 views on YouTube. There are articles about him in Ukrainian and Belarusian Wikipedia and it's very important. In addition to all this he appeared several times on television. I think that's enough of it to an article in the Wiki. I have created this article a few hours ago and have not had time to fill it completely. --Ukrainebestintheworld (talk) 14:09, 19 April 2015 (UTC)

Edit page Ivan Buyan

Fully edited page, added the city where he performed and proof of the veracity these performances. I think that this information is sufficient. In addition, we must remember that the development of hip-hop in different countries is not the same. For Ukraine 100,000 views and statements in the CIS countries is already significant level. I hope for understanding and the fact that you will not remove my article. --Ukrainebestintheworld (talk) 16:13, 19 April 2015 (UTC)

do not delete omniocracy

I was invited years ago by one of the major editors at Wikipedia to create a page for the term omniocracy. I did not do it then because I did not think there were enough references to include with the article. Now it has been discussed at length in 4 books. Two of the books came out in 2015. The term omniocracy is used at animal rights conferences, in speeches and in books. It makes a significant contribution to world knowledge. It should not be deleted. I can make the article longer if you want, but I was hoping someone else would want to add some paragraphs. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lauracaluncle (talkcontribs) 21:11, 5 May 2015 (UTC)

Hi! I've removed your speedy deletion tag from Omniocracy. I agree that its a neologism and likely not an article that will be kept in the long run but it does not qualify for speedy deletion. Each of the speedy deletion criteria are narrowly defined and only pages meeting those criteria qualify to be speedily deleted. CSD A1 is for articles that are very short and provide so little context that you can't figure out what its supposed to be about. While not great, the Omniocracy article does provide significant context, including who coined the phrase and where it was used.

Check out WP:PROD and WP:AFD for other ways to request article deletion when they don't qualify for speedy deletion. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns. --NickContact/Contribs 21:20, 5 May 2015 (UTC)

This page should not be speedily deleted because it is a readily trending topic currently in India. She was one of the top 25 most influential women of India.

New pages patrol

Hello Arthistorian1977

Thanks for patrolling new pages. Wikipedia appreciates your help. However, am aware that you often wrongly tag articles for speedy deletion such as this one you tagged as Vandalism or hoax. The article is actually not vandalism or hoax, its about one of our new editor, Nequi (talk · contribs) who is probably not notable. While we encourage editors to patrol new pages, we usually frown on wrong tagging and nomination of articles for speedy deletion. I suggest that you should slow down a bit in tagging pages for speedy deletion until you are more familiar with WP:CSD. Thanks! Wikigyt@lk to M£ 06:03, 26 May 2015 (UTC)

Hi Wikicology, thank you for your suggestion. I would not say "often", while you mention only one article. Also, this one specific was clearly candidate for speedy deletion and it was clearly looking as a usual hoax teenagers post on Wikipedia. Regards Arthistorian1977 (talk) 06:27, 26 May 2015 (UTC)
The article, Rakhee Kapoor Tandon that you tagged for speedy deletion per A7 is clearly notable. Asadulla pasha that you tagged for speedy deletion per G11 is not eligible for that criterion as well because G11 does not applies to minor promotional wording. I noticed this ones because I'm aware of them. There are others I may not be aware of. The fact that an article is a candidate for speedy deletion does not mean it should be deleted under any criteria for speedy deletion. Deleting pages with the appropriate criterion does not only help the article creator to know the exact reasons why their page got deleted but also enhance the justification of such deletion. Wikigyt@lk to M£ 06:59, 26 May 2015 (UTC)
I would allow myself not to agree with you. The fact that the person is a daughter if an prominent businessman and a blogger does not support a notability claim. As well as with Asadulla pasha, the original article was heavy promotional and Speedy Deletion criteria defines this as "Pages that are exclusively promotional, and would need to be fundamentally rewritten to become encyclopedic" Wikipedia:Criteria_for_speedy_deletion#G11. As we both know, speedy deletion can be contested and in case author misspell the name, which does not allow to find reliable source or wants to rewrite am article to comply with Wikipedia criteria, nothing stops her/him from doing it. At the end, our aim as new pages patrollers is to bring admin attention to the articles we suspect as wrong and the final decision lies with admin. So, I am still not being cleat what is your problem with me. Regards. Arthistorian1977 (talk) 08:20, 26 May 2015 (UTC)
You probably do not know how things work here. Do you? Am also puzzled by your last comments that "So, I am still not being cleat what is your problem with me". Wikigyt@lk to M£ 08:31, 26 May 2015 (UTC)
I think we should stop the discussion, since I am not happy with the tone you talk to me. So, assuming good faith, which is a custom on Wikipedia, let our ways part Arthistorian1977 (talk) 09:20, 26 May 2015 (UTC)

Hello Tanishq. Let see what other editors has to say. Still, one mention does not have a strong claim for proper notability. Arthistorian1977 (talk) 09:52, 26 May 2015 (UTC)
Agreed. Thank-you for the suggestion. Should I try finding more references if possible? Because there are tons which were published last week following her getting viral post Indian Premier League Final, when she aired on Television. Tanishq (talk) 09:55, 26 May 2015 (UTC)
Definetely yes. As far as you can improve the article, showing the notability, it worth it. Regards Arthistorian1977 (talk) 10:07, 26 May 2015 (UTC)

Herman Mashaba speedy deletion

Hi Arthistorian1977 . I wrote on the "contest" page of the speedy deletion note but I haven't removed the tag. This article about Mashaba is important especially for South Africans. Many who look up to him for his story of rags to riches in a very harsh climate of Apartheid. He deserves a wikipedia page.

Please look at the page and tell me what needs to be changed in order to meet your expectations and remove the speedy deletion notice? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jsg24 (talkcontribs) 20:42, 24 June 2015 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of ISF Waterloo

Hi Arthistorian1977 This is the first time I create a Wikipedia page. The original information was on World International School, but it is not correct since that school no longer exists. ISF Waterloo is the school that occupies the same grounds. It was important to distinguish the two. I would need more time to re-edit the page, but I wanted to save my progress. Any advice on how to proceed is appreciated! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zad-dig (talkcontribs) 10:59, 30 June 2015 (UTC)

@Zad-dig: I suggest you move the article to your user sandbox and submit it to review prior creating a new article in article space. You can use this is as the reference - Wikipedia:Your first article Arthistorian1977 (talk) 11:14, 30 June 2015 (UTC)

Deidre Behar

Hi, I invite you to withdraw your nomination for deletion from Deidre Behar. I think the article is quite good, on a notable person per her role with Clevver and ET alone. Moreover, I have provided over a dozen sources on her life and career. Thanks for your work patrolling. --JumpLike23 (talk) 18:07, 3 August 2015 (UTC)

Hello. Let see what other editors have to say. Arthistorian1977 (talk) 18:59, 3 August 2015 (UTC)

Australian artists

The information in a plain list without intellectual content is not copyright in the US, but making an article by copypaste is a very poor idea. When you do copy lists, it is very wise to alter the material in some way, such as by changing the sequence or selecting significant items, not reprinting the entirety. You should concentrate on the essentials: Works in major museums (each individual work needs to be cited with a separate reference, preferable to the museum's web site or publication) and significant publications about the artist (mere notices about an exhibition are not significant publications, and each reference needs to be used to document the relevant specific point in the article.) Statements about what the artist is trying to do , if derived from the artist, need to be so indicated, and given a specific published reference. Comments by others about the artist's work need specific documentation from a RS. Gallery publications accompanying an exhibit at a commercial gallery are press releases, not reliable sources. I would normally limit the list of group exhibits to ones of special prestiges, and consider limiting the list of individual ones similarly. Articles constructed the way you have been doing are very vulnerable to deletion. It's up to you to do it better, though it takes considerably longer.

To avoid doubt, it is indeed possible for the gallery to donate the text. But they must not merely permit WP to use it, they must formally donate it according to the detailed requirements of WP:DCM, observing all of the formal steps specified there, which give everyone in the world an irrevocable license to reuse and modify it, even for commercial purposes. A general statement is insufficient. The permission must also be given by someone who is in fact the owner of the copyright. (If they copied it from a statement provided by the artist, the artist probably is the one who owns the copyright) If you are the owner, see the following paragraph about conflict of interest.

Additionally, some of your recent articles seem to be based on material published by the same gallery. If it should be the case that you have some conflict of interest with the gallery, especially a paid conflict of interest as an employee or contractor or paid writer, you must declare it, according to our Terms of Use, particularly with respect to paid contributions without disclosure. This is not optional. The best place to do it is on each article's talk page. DGG ( talk ) 01:42, 12 August 2015 (UTC)

DGG - Well, thank you indeed for a thorough explanation. Those articles are not mine and have no relation to the gallery. I stumbled upon one article of them as new created article. noticed they have more and tried to make them better, mostly by adding independent source for the list of exhibition, since art is my primary interest and most articles I work on are art related. This is the reason I've tried to make author, who is related to the gallery, judging by the name :) to note they are going to be deleted unless they properly release copyrighted materials. So, the explanation goes to Sulliva_strumpf. I've actually tried to reach them about another issue of their article, but the look like ignoring the talk page :( Arthistorian1977 (talk) 06:48, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
I've copied my advice to the other editor . Since Notability is based on those two factors I've mentioned&, the other parts can be eliminated ,which should solve the problem. if demonstrated can stand on their own. I may go there and simply remove those sections now myself. It's up to you if you think they are important enough to clean up further DGG ( talk ) 06:54, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
I think this will be a good idea. Actually you gave some information to think on, since in the articles about Israeli photographers, I've created I've used lists of all their exhibitions. So, I think it would be wise for me to remove those, which does not have any references, but Artist own page. Which actually bring me to the question - if I see the exhibition mentioned on Artist's page and some galleries, which definteley not related one to each other, may I consider it credible. Re: Speedy deletion nomination of Gay European Tourism Association

Hey i don't think it is to promotional. Its FAR less promotional than the (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Gay_and_Lesbian_Travel_Association) IGLTA, which is the equivalent. I think it's purely a description of a trade association. --Rajsolanki7119 (talk) 12:28, 25 August 2015 (UTC)

I see you proposed Dick Semerdjian for deletion. Because the PROD tag was removed by a sockpuppet of Orangemoody, I have now sent it to AFD. If you have a moment, could you leave your comments? --Slashme (talk) 23:20, 2 September 2015 (UTC)

Contesting deletion of Remi Eriksen

Hi Arthistorian1977, I'm contesting deletion of Remi Eriksen because he is the CEO of an organization with some 15.000 employees and 300 offices in 100 different countries. I assume this is notable. Bjornte (talk) 10:19, 4 September 2015 (UTC)

  • Hi again, I see that the article is now deleted. Can you explain the rationale? Can you point me to a specific entry in the notability guidelines? Also, I just did the following search in Google News: "Remi Eriksen" "dnv gl" -site:dnvgl.com. So there are currently "About 3,750 results" about him in sources that Google understands as news. Wouldn't this make him notable, even if he wasn't CEO of a multinational organization? In advance thanks for your response. I don't know the guy, so I'm not going to take this personally ;-) Bjornte (talk) 11:17, 5 September 2015 (UTC)
    • I am posting here to avoid breaking the thread. I am the admin who deleted Remi Eriksen; Arthistorian1977 nominated it but did not himself/herself delete it. I accept that this gentleman may indeed be notable; this notability was not implied, averred or claimed in the article. If you wish to expand the article so as to include a significant claim of wikipaedic notability I can post the text to your talk-page. Let me know; on my page, not this one. --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 11:50, 5 September 2015 (UTC)

Contested deletion

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... (Dear Sir,

We are working on this Wikipedia page for an historic Olympic organization founded by the late great Al Oerter, Olympic icon, with several dozen notable high profile Olympic athletes, including world record holders, Olympic champions and numerous Olympic medalists, most of which can be verified on Wikipedia. This organization has been in existence for 9 years, including a physical museum/gallery located in Fort Myers Fl for almost four years. Most of the activities and files have been hidden, tucked away or lost. We are in the process of tracking down all or at least most of the past activities and creating our virtual presence, under the leadership of Cathy Oerter, Chairwoman of AOTO and widow of the late Al Oerter. We will / are linking to videos, articles, press coverage and other documentation to validate the organization and all of its accomplishments as you - Wikipedia - require. We've started with an Instagram account and last week we created the "Art of The Olympian" YouTube channel that now has a dozen videos including a 30 minute documentary video narrated by 1968 figure skating champion and AOTO artist Peggy Fleming. As well we will be improving our existing website.

The "Art of the Olympians" were given permission to use the USOC Olympic Rings and the word "Olympian", an act protected by congress. We are in the process of becoming an official IOC (International Olympic Committee) recognized organization.

I am one of the founding members. My name is Roald Bradstock, 2 time GB Olympic javelin thrower, former world record holder and current masters world record holder for over 50. I am also nicknamed "The Olympic Picasso" by the media and am now in charge of the Art of the Olympians (AOTO) organization. It is essential that we have a Wikipedia page for this organization.

If you need any more questions please feel free to contact me. Thank you.

Kind regards

Contested deletion: TECOM Group

Hi Arthistorian1977, Thanks for your vigilance and appreciate the work. However in this case the article is regarding a company of significance. It employs over 700 people and provides the means for 4,650 businesses to operate and 74,000 people to work. It also owns the company that operates the Arab Radio Network which includes Virgin Radio. It is a major brand and operator in the country. If you look at the businesses it owns & runs then you will see its significance. Tobias mills (talk) 13:47, 9 September 2015 (UTC)

Update Acision? (or merge with Xura?)

Hi there Arthistorian1977!

I noticed that you recently moved Comverse to Xura and made other related edits. Thank you!

I was wondering if you might be interested in making the appropriate changes to Acision, whose merger with Comverse was part of the reason for renaming? One could merge the two pages, though I think it would be more appropriate to continue to have an Acision page in the past tense that notes the merger, similar to the Comverse Technology page. I defer to your judgment.

I would consider doing it, but I work for Xura (not in marketing or anything, a programmer from the Acision side) which may be a conflict of interest, and in any case you seem to a more experienced Wikipedian than I and would do a better job of it. I did update the Comverse name to Xura on the Comverse Technology page, that seems harmless enough :)

I do think it would be better if it were done by someone who has had no exposure to internal company communications... but if you have any questions - perhaps you're looking for citations or something - I'll be glad to help as much as is appropriate. I don't check Wikipedia very often, so feel free to reach out at my personal email, which is found on my user page.

Thank you!

I've updated Acision with some information regarding acquisition. I don't think that is has to be merged. The company existed, so encyclopedical knowledge of it has to stay Arthistorian1977 (talk) 16:31, 12 September 2015 (UTC)

Hi,

I have removed the promotional content on this article, because of your request. It's just now the article is incredibly bare, just one sentence. Do you have any suggestions of how I might write it so it is not promotional and encyclopaedic? I do not know an awful lot about x10hosting, except what I have gathered from using it. I felt x10hosting deserved an article as it's been around over 10 years and the Comparison of free web hosting services article required an x10hosting article in order for me to add it to the table there. Btw, I hope this doesn't come across as personal, I thought someone would see that article as promotional, just didn't think it would be enough to warrant a deletion.

Thank you for uploading File:Mizrahibait.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Citizens Advice Edinburgh Speedy Deletion contest

Hi Arthistorian1977,

Thanks for inviting me to have a chat about the speedy deletion notice you added to my page. Apologies if I have gone about adding this page in the wrong way, I'm quite new to wikipedia in general.

Since you added the notice I have tried to add more content to the page focussing on the community impact and long standing nature of the charities work in Edinburgh. I feel it is a notable charity that should be included on wikipedia, but of course I may be mistaken!
