For class projects, if you want to write a new article, you need to pick a topic that is not already on wikipedia, "History of baltimotre riots" is already on wikipedia as Baltimore riot of 1968. My suggestion is that you pick a biographical subject--for example, many of the mayors of Baltimore do not yet have articles in Wikipedia--see [1]. But your teacher should be giving you a little more guidance in this. Please call his or her attention to [2], our project for this.
