Block message:
Autoblocked because your IP address was recently used by "HailKingDonaldTrump". The reason given for HailKingDonaldTrump's block is: "Clearly not here to build an encyclopedia".
Decline reason: Now blocked directly. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 01:47, 24 January 2020 (UTC)
My aren't we a being a little presumptious? Seems to me that this is conclusive proof of Wikipedia's anti-conservative bias. In any event, unless you cite an actual policy violation for the block, I'm afraid the block is highly inappropriate. 98.178.179.240 (talk) 00:14, 24 January 2020 (UTC) Also note that either way its not of consequence given I'm on a dynamic IP. This is just to document the case for a documentary on Wikipedia we're doing. 98.178.179.240 (talk)!

Request reason:
This IP address has been newly assigned by the ISP. it is a Dynamic IP address, not a static IP. Therefore, the block based upon whatever account you're speaking of is not appropriate, considering that whatever the problem is, the current user has nothing to do with it. Alternatively, this could be bypassed by my requesting a new IP address from the ISP and then making a complaint to the appropriate domain registrar. 98.178.179.240 (talk) 00:22, 26 June 2020 (UTC)
Decline reason:
We have no way of knowing who is sitting at the computer, only that the block is necessary to stop an abusive user from harming Wikipedia. If that's not you, you should go to a different physical location with a different IP and create an account there. You can then return to this IP and log in with that account, as the block is only on users without accounts. 331dot (talk) 09:40, 26 June 2020 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
