Welcome!
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions so far. I hope you like the place and decide to stay.
Here are some links to pages you may find useful:

- Simplified Manual of Style
You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but if you wish to acquire additional privileges, you can simply create a named account. It's free, requires no personal information, and lets you:
- Create new pages and rename pages
- Edit semi-protected pages
- Upload images
- Have your own watchlist, which shows when articles you are interested in have changed
Note that in order for the first three features to be available, you must have had an account for a minimum number of days and made a minimum number of edits.
If you edit without using a named account, your IP address (84.46.52.210) is used to identify you instead.
I hope that you, as a Wikipedian, decide to continue contributing to our project: an encyclopedia of human knowledge that anyone can edit. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, or you can to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. We also have an intuitive guide on editing if you're interested. By the way, please make sure to sign and date your talk page comments with four tildes (~~~~).
Happy editing! AntiCompositeNumber (talk) 01:43, 12 January 2020 (UTC)

- He basically said that if primary sources on a BLP disagree with reliable sources, the reliable sources win. –84.46.52.210 (talk) 07:44, 8 January 2020 (UTC)

- @LorriBrown: Basically you can't, but I typically keep two to four bookmarks for my recent contributions until all open/pending issues are either closed or superseded by fresher contributions to a subset of these pages. IOW, I read your answer, and reacted by editing the AFD + BLP + BLP talk page.
This convoluted COI procedure with an IMNSHO odd AFD must be frustrating for all involved parties, I almost hope that the BLP is deleted. OTOH wasting all efforts only because the subject of the BLP doesn't like it is really weird, other folks pay for this and use all kinds of dirty tricks to get an article about their company / product / whatever: Google shows the first part of the lede in search results and uses the infobox + Wikidata to derive meta-data. It's free SEO, and everybody knows that, it's the reason for WP:NPP (new page patrol) as last checkpoint for abusive SEO. –84.46.53.207 (talk) 01:16, 12 January 2020 (UTC)- The BLP is disappointed that the page does not reflect their current work as a filmmaker - only focuses on the earlier work early on in their career. It is very incomplete and I have been unsuccessful in improving it. I wrote about this in a reply to your comment on the KT talk page. I sent two recent edit requests and as it would have it the deletion request finally kicked into action about the same time. I had thought I would make one more effort to try to improve the article but as you can see that effort has failed. There was no intention to waste anybody's time and I hope you don't feel that way. I do believe the BLP would prefer an improved page over a deleted page. It appears the page will get deleted because it is not getting improved. My complaining hasn't done me any favours either. Thank you for taking the time to comment and provide a different perspective. : -) LorriBrown (talk) 03:00, 12 January 2020 (UTC)

Yes indeed, the outcome was a very unexpected one. Thank you for your participation in the discussion and also for improving the KT article. LorriBrown (talk) 06:27, 22 January 2020 (UTC) |
Your Files for Upload request: Cover art for the Villains album infobox
[edit]Hello, and thank you for your request at Files for upload! The file has been uploaded. You can find it at File:Villains (Emma Blackery album) cover.jpg.
