[edit]Hello, I'm Ed6767. I noticed that you recently removed content from Mehmet Şimşek without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Ed6767 (talk) 10:57, 7 May 2020 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
Please do not remove information from articles, as you did to Ottoman Empire. Wikipedia is not censored, and content is not removed on the sole grounds of perceived offensiveness. Please discuss this issue on the article's talk page to reach consensus rather than continuing to remove the disputed material. If the content in question involves images, you also have the option to configure Wikipedia to hide the images that you may find offensive. Thank you. ---Wikaviani (talk) (contribs) 19:02, 10 May 2020 (UTC)

Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Halil Kut, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Safavid Iran. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. RandomCanadian (talk / contribs) 01:18, 22 May 2020 (UTC)

Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did with this edit to Ottoman Exile. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Materialscientist (talk) 23:20, 24 May 2020 (UTC)

Complaint about your removal of references
[edit]Hello, anonymous editor. User:Kansas Bear has complained about your removal of references from certain articles, "ranging from Armenian to Turkish to Persian/Iranian." Details are at User talk:EdJohnston#A concern. You can reply there if you wish. You do know that "said to have been an Armenian", if that quote comes from a historian, is information that qualifies for consideration here. Not everybody is sure about everything, but we use whatever we can learn from WP:Reliable sources, even when the surviving evidence is partial or incomplete. If you think you have better sources you should produce them. On the other hand, flat-out removal of references is often viewed with suspicion. Many of your edits have triggered the abuse filter, a thing which often leads to blocks. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 04:30, 3 June 2020 (UTC)
