Need more bystanders

Hello Nutthida. I just looked you up randomly as a well known editor. I need help solving a somewhat lasting and definitely annoying problem concerning the article "Nordic Walking" (I'm not good with referencing so I'll just tell you about it). Check out Nordic Walking's talk page to see the on going dispute, and also the administrators noticeboard under: "editing and socks" and "Need help with a persistent spamming user/editor". Thank you in advance! KMuuli (talk) 15:33, 22 February 2012 (UTC)

Falklands Off-Topic Discussion

The simple step to take in this kind of situation is to remove the off-topic discussion, given that it goes against WP:TALK guidelines and WP:NOTFORUM. Both me and Polyamorph agreed it was the right thing to do. However, I do not understand why the administrator who ended up blocking Keysanger decided to leave the off-topic discussion (discussing the War of the Pacific) on the Falkland Islands article. It doesn't make any sense at all, and is instead providing support for disruptive behavior.--MarshalN20 | Talk 06:29, 9 March 2012 (UTC)

Thank you for your precious advice Τασουλα. I will follow it. Life is too beautiful to waste time. Hugs and kisses, --Best regards, Keysanger (what?) 10:09, 9 March 2012 (UTC)

Northern Ireland

I replied to your post on Talk:Northern Ireland. There actually is a current discussion on that point. The new version of the lead is imperfect but it is at least a step in the right direction (in my opinion). If you could give your comment on it, I'd appreciate it. --RA (talk) 18:07, 15 March 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for that, I'll read the ongoing discussion tomorrow when I'm feeling better and see if I can have any input. I think I can probably point out how WP:LEAD is clearly not being used to its best on NIreland article. --Nutthida (talk) 19:50, 15 March 2012 (UTC)

Note

Regarding this, the user in question removed the "Notice of Dispute resolution discussion" (which they themselves closed), not the "Administrators noticeboard incidents", which was still ongoing and which I was also advised to inform them about. Would not have done so otherwise. --86.40.100.107 (talk) 01:24, 21 June 2012 (UTC)

Thank you

I likewise apologize for losing my temper. --Tenebrae (talk) 03:26, 22 June 2012 (UTC)

I know what you mean, and I do feel bad about our little disagreement. I do respect conscientious editors such as yourself who follow policies and guidelines, and I certainly would not want to dissuade or distract a good Wikipedian — especially one who, I now believe, is contributing to this project despite personal challenges. I appreciate your graciousness, and I promise to give you the benefit of the doubt if our paths cross in the future. A sincere "Good Wiki'ing!' to you! With regards, --Tenebrae (talk) 03:41, 22 June 2012 (UTC)

Just clarifying...

hey so...i didn't know that there was any "shit" to get into? but i just wanted to clarify a quick bit. you had mentioned the "crystal ball" thing towards the "in development" or "pre-production" titles for his filmography, and i would agree but the crystal ball says its only for things that aren't verifiable but his upcoming film projects are, thats why they have refs by them. and the link to film I gave was showing that you can put "in development" or "pre-production" for film, if you have proof that its legit and not just "talk". i just wanted to sum that up, wasn't trying to keep stirring the pot or whatever lol sorry. have a lovely day :) xx Xpinkxcasualtyx (talk) 23:47, 23 June 2012 (UTC)

The shit? What is the shit ummm...it's...ah, reverting without communicating XD That's what it is! You're not shit I swear XD I guess it's a bit of...a...philosophical...conundrome...(I have no idea how to spell that) we have going on here huh? I wont remove them again, because well, only if it were a rumour is it a big no-no for filmography tables...ahhhh yesss....we have reached...something of an...understanding here (I'm sorry I'm really tired!) Have a nice day too :D xx (I'm really sorry) --Τασουλα (talk) 23:57, 23 June 2012 (UTC)
I would totally not even stop you if the film projects were just nonsense that nobody could actually prove but only cause the ones up there are would I revert them back. Thats all :) No harm done I hope. xx Xpinkxcasualtyx (talk) 00:04, 24 June 2012 (UTC)

Administrator intervention against vandalism

Thanks for your report at Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism about the +Scotland/-England editor. Unfortunately, your suggestion of "a lengthy range-block" is not possible, as the edits fall across ranges which also include many edits which appear to come from other editors (including at least one case of an editor adding a mention of England, which is unlikely to be the same person). I have placed 1-week blocks on five IP addresses that I can see have been used by this editor. Feel welcome to let me know of any other IPs he/she uses, or to contact me if the problem returns after the week is over. Three of the IPs are static, and I see no problem with blocking them for much longer if need be, and even those IPs which are dynamic seem to have been used only by this one user. Unfortunately, however, the likelihood is that he/she will switch to other dynamic IPs, in which case it will be just a matter of blocking each one as it comes up. JamesBWatson (talk) 11:31, 26 June 2012 (UTC)

Thank you James :) I hope this deters them from making any-more of these edits. I couldn't care less about the stuff their doing to Scotland related articles, but the England-related stuff is purely disruptive. This person knows exactly what they are doing; if they honestly think it is a good idea to try and bolster Scotland's sense of independence and individuality by erasing the same thing from England-related articles then he/she is sadly mistaken. I know all Scottish nationalists are not like this. Well I wouldn't want decent editors to be blocked :( so I understand! :) I once had my IP-range blocked ages ago before I had an account...I know how annoying it is! I'll revert any more changes this user makes of a disruptive nature as vandalism, plain and simple. I wont loose my temper and only use Twinkle tools where appropriate. --Τασουλα (talk) 16:05, 26 June 2012 (UTC)

Places in Cornwall

Hello, As you edit some of the Cornwall articles it may be useful to look at WikiProject Cornwall Guidelines. This has been discussed exhaustively in the past but the consensus recommends using both England and United Kingdom. There are some editors who will want to delete England from this formula and others who think United Kingdom is unnecessary and prefer just England. Only the consensus is likely to reduce unconstructive editing from one version to the other which appears from time to time. This is a typical civil parish lead paragraph and other article on settlements usually correspond; linking of England and of United Kingdom is unnecessary though it has been common in the past.

Mawgan-in-Meneage is a civil parish in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is situated in the Meneage district of The Lizard peninsula south of Helston in the former administrative district of Kerrier.--Felix Folio Secundus (talk) 18:16, 24 March 2012 (UTC)

Tom the Tonsils - there's tidy!

Um, yes Talk:Tom Jones (singer) looks very tidy now. But perhaps just a bit too tidy? I mean there were only 23 items there, with a pretty slow turnover. I find it's often handy to be able to scan a Talk page just to see what's the "flavour of the month" and to see what's been discussed already. I know it's all still there in the archive, but some new users don't even realise that. Thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 20:44, 24 March 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for your note, Τασουλα. It's no big deal. Maybe I just have a phobia of blank Talk Pages (a potential article in itelf, no doubt). I may drag a few of the later ones back. Regards. Martinevans123 (talk) 17:06, 26 March 2012 (UTC)

Your name...

Re this edit - it is likely to confuse everyone if you use one name (Τασουλα) in one part of a discussion, and a different name (Nutthida) in another part of what is essentially the same discussion. Do you think you could stick to one name or the other?  :-) Ghmyrtle (talk) 22:12, 26 March 2012 (UTC)

This time I am! I swear I wont change it again, don't kill me and put me in one of your coffins :( (And I have nothing against the Cornish! I like to uphold that stupid guideline because it deny's them "free reign here" X_X I mean, from removing it, yeah) yeah I'm shifty. --Τασουλα (talk) 22:20, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
