Notes
- List of Battles and Secondary Actions comes from British Nomenclature for the Battle of the Somme: Refer Battle of the Somme for transcribed list.
- Where existing pages already exist and are called "Battles" rather than engagements, actions or "capture of...." the original page name has been retained.
- Full Secondary Action list was added as red-links to encourage development of these pages.

Recent changes
[edit]@Emiya1980: While not dismayed by your recent changes to the Somme templates, I'm curious about your term "clutter"; isn't the campaignbox the place for such information? Regards Keith-264 (talk) 08:26, 18 May 2020 (UTC)
- @Keith-264: I apologize. I admit I've been defining what constitutes "clutter" in the Somme campaign box. Before making any more changes, I'll be sure to bring it for the talk page for further discussion beforehand. Best.Emiya1980 (talk) 08:39, 18 May 2020 (UTC)
- I don't think you need to apologise, far from it, it's a pleasure to see someone else taking an interest. I think that the use of a new box for Albert makes sense since it got so much emphasis in the British nomenclature committee's deliberations. I was a little unsure of the term "clutter" that's all. I take my information from
