I created this article because I thought that these elections, more specifically the special election, was of some importance and therefore deserving of being created. I wanted to reduce some clotter on this webcite so I combined both of them into one article because I was afraid that having two seperate articles might confuse some users because of the fact that "South Dakota's At-large congressional district special election, 2004" (June 1) and "United States House of Representatives election in South Dakota, 2004" (November 2) had such similiar titles and that they occurred in the same year on seperate days. However, if any administrator or any one who works on any politics related wikiprojects would prefer that these elections be recorded in seperate articles, I will have this article is deleted and create two seperate ones.
