The Paresky Center, while a new building, is the single most important structure on the Williams campus. It, therefore, merits a page in Wikipedia. 216.73.189.71 18:32, 21 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why does a building, even if it is the single most important structure on the Williams campus (a claim that i doubt - its the student center), of a small liberal arts college in New England merit a wikipedia page? It certainly seems like something that could be mentioned in the main Williams College article. (It is not even mentioned in the "landmarks" category of the Williams College article, which casts doubts on your "single most important structure" claim) Sanyasi (talk) 22:09, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

And, for instance, is one of the first US buildings "of its type" whose interior (and exterior) views were designed primarily with the use 3D/CGI modeling techniques (derivative of standard 'perspective drawing' in architecture). This alone would merit note and inclusion; a 'stub' article should not be flagged for deletion merely because of lack of content when it is created. (Article however should likely be marked as a stub, which I have done). KenThomas 19:24, 21 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This article must be merged with Williams College. It deserves its own section, not its own page.JakeH07 (talk) 03:59, 7 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Why "must" it be merged? The Williams College page is already too large. I will try to add some more info to the page. David.Kane (talk) 17:01, 9 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think it would be helpful to include more information about things like the center being a landmark as well as the unique architectural qualities of the building on the page itself. I think having a page devoted to the Paresky Center is justified, especially in light of the special features it seems to have, and a link to this page could be included on the Williams website as a way to merge the two. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lwg723 (talkcontribs) 00:13, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I guess I don't really understand the issue about whether or not it has its own page. It is linked from the Williams College wiki page, so if there are people looking for additional information about the building, they can find more information that has been provided. I wonder exactly what characteristics people are looking at when they debate this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Smiles0671 (talkcontribs) 00:58, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
