The following statement needs to be checked:
[edit]"NOAA Corps pilots are the only pilots in the world who are trained and qualified to fly into hurricanes at dangerously low altitudes (below 10,000 feet)."
According to the Hurricane Hunters article, the United States Air Force WC-130 aircraft typically fly through hurricanes at between 10,000 and 500 feet. Sperril 17:17, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
- As well over a month has gone by without any verification of the above statement, I'm going to pull it as unreferenced and not factual. Sperril 04:49, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
