I do not see how merging this with the general fraternal orders is a good idea. That had some similarities, but also different functions - one sought to help and maintain (usually) new immigrant cultures and help fellow immigrants. The other was principally designed to facilitate financial help and fraternity, but had no ethnic or religious component.--Bellerophon5685 (talk) 15:42, 8 May 2018 (UTC)
Jewish organizations and B'nai B'rith
Item 1: How is it that Jewish organizations are listed as "ethnic" rather than "religious"? Is it that these organiations are known for having exclusively or primarily secular activities? Or do we presume that they're ethnic organization based on the premise that you can't become Jewish?
Item 2: Why isn't B'nai B'rith listed? Because it's now international? Two reasons why it should be listed under North America: a. It was formed in North America. b. It has chapters in North America. Fabrickator (talk) 18:59, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
