Forerunner Ventures has invested in more than 85 companies including six unicorns (Glossier, Chime, Away, Hims, Dollar Shave Club, and Warby Parker).

Forerunner has invested in companies in health and education, along with other consumer industries, with recent portfolio companies including Calibrate, Real, OK Play, Juni Learning, Oura, Dumpling, and Moment House. [8] [9] [10] [11] [12] [13] [14] [15]
In July 2020, Forerunner Ventures closed its fifth fund of $500 million, adding to its over $700 million in investments from previous funds. [16] [17]
The company was ranked No. 1 on The Information’s annual VC Diversity Index in 2019, leading in both the gender and ethnicity scores.
