Prodwarning 24 June 2007
[edit]I object to the deletion of the whole article on the following grounds:
1. Neither the history of the article, nor the source text itself shows any indication of when, why, or by whom the warning was inserted, nor is there a note on the talk page.
While I assume that copyright issues (wrt TIME Magazine) might be the reason for the warning, I think that no such warning should be inserted without giving a reason. Such behaviour is close to vandalism, in my book.
2. I do not see any sound reason to remove the whole article - as was threatened in the warning - i.e. to throw the rest of the information in the dustbin together with the part that was subject of the warning.

Although Hermann Goering escaped execution by committing suicide in his cell, his dead body was hanged at Nuremberg.
[edit]Sure? I found no proof for this.
- Goering committed suicide by ingesting cyanide approximately two hours before he was scheduled to be the first to be hanged. After the executions were completed his body was brought into the Landsberg prison gymnasium and briefly displayed to the official witnesses so that there would be do doubt that he was indeed dead and had not managed to escape. My source: Howard (aka Kingsbury) Smith of the International News Service was chosen by lot to be the official media witness. His account is furnished by hypertext link here in Wikipedia. T.E. Death date confusion
[edit]The article has two different dates of death for him: June 20 and July 21. Which is it? ekedolphin (talk) 17:28, 26 June 2015 (UTC)
Pedophilia
[edit]Why is there no mention of the allegations he sexually abused children? (5.81.222.141 (talk) 23:10, 2 February 2018 (UTC))
Karma

Fail as henchman.
[edit]Woods did not use the standard American execution method of the so called long drop which snaps the neck for an instant death but, being unable in what he did and thus a fail, suffocated the prisoners and extended their end. Stick with the truth, Wikipedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2003:C0:DF30:6F00:B880:F8A6:7A1E:33E3 (talk) 00:26, 30 March 2020 (UTC)
Promotion
[edit]Private to Master Sergeant? Damn. How did that happen? More info needed on the selection process, and why this decision was made.
Neo-Nazis have long claimed that the executions were botched deliberately (as part of a Jewish plot, of course). More info on this hangman, who was botching them well before Nuremberg, could help stop these stories. Also, the false allegations are part of the history of the subject, and should be included with proper sourcing. 77.107.71.4 (talk) 14:04, 29 July 2021 (UTC)
