Hello. We walked this over the weekend in the area from Gare de Lyon.

We gained access via Rue de Lyon, and could not find another active route down - we had to return back to the place we went up.

Many access staircases and lifts are closed off, which we only discovered through experiment and quite a lot of extra steps.

We were there at midday on a Friday so this is not a night time or Sunday effect.

I think a statement about the level of access would be good for visitors and for anyone with restricted mobility.

Something along the lines of ‘As of 2022, major access points such as Rue de Lyon, Xxx, and yyy are open but smaller stairs and lifts are not accessible.’ — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jonverrier (talkcontribs) 17:50, 22 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello again, Jonverrier. This morning, I arrived at the Gare de Lyon from a trip in the south. I walked along the Coulée verte to my apartment, which borders on it. Every single access stairway was open from blvd Diderot to place Felix Eboué. I don't doubt that you had the experience of closed access that you say you had. What I am saying is that this experience was atypical. I would also suggest that one person's experience of a single walk on a single day does not really qualify as a source of information that can be included in a Wikipedia article.

However, developing the theme that you have initiated, I have noticed that the only elevator on the promenade almost never works, which could present problems for the disabled and people with baby carriages. This is my experience, but I think that it is not solidly sourced information and should not be included in the article. Dr Dobeaucoup (talk) 08:38, 23 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

A map would be welcome
