External link cleanup
[edit]I'll try to cleanup this article to comply with WP:EL which I believe is why it's being flaged. It doesn't read like an advertising to me, I'm not sure what CalCars as a non-profit might be advertising anyway. Rather I read it as a description of an organization, it's projects, and it's members and their work. I'm trying to reference this organization in other articles and would like for there to be something here for people to read. If I am mistaken and it's not being flagged simply for the external links within the body of the article then please let me know so I can correct the problem rather then continuously recreating this article... --D0li0 07:08, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
- I have converted many of the external links into references, I hope that this is enough to comply with WP:EL. I left the CalCars#Other key advisors section unchanged because much of it is made up of external links which describe the various backgrounds of the numerous advisors, some of these people already have articles. I hope that this is enough work for this evening to at least downgrade the speedy deletion status. If I still need to do more please let me know what still needs to be fixed to make this article comply with polity. --D0li0 08:17, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
- Someone else has rewritten the introduction, and I have removed much of what I believe may have been seen as spam, how do I go about getting the hangon & db-spam tags removed from the article if I'm not supposed to do it myself? --D0li0 07:43, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
