[edit]I concede that the page needs some work (which I don't have time to do right at this moment) but a google search will confirm the subjects high profile in Victoria and thus his importance/significance as a senior member of the bar and leading civil libertarian. Ender 22:36, 10 December 2005 (UTC) I added some more stuff. ABC wrongly described Walters as a Vice President of Liberty Victoria; he is the President, according to that group's website. --Tony Sidaway|Talk 14:20, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
- I think at one stage he was VP but was later promoted (?). Also, I think the court action about refugees was the Tampa incident, which was actually a Norwegian ship that picked up the refugees (which then somewhat controversially brought them into Australian waters and was refused permission to land them).
