[edit]This is a nonsensical proposal. Cornea (and the contact lens) is not in the optically conjugated plane with the retina, and therefore one cannot see an object on the cornea in focus! For example, a hair on the cornea can be felt but not seen. I suggest removing this article since it misleads less informed readers (I've witnessed that). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Palanker (talk • contribs) 21:02, 12 December 2013 (UTC)
Just slapped this together. By all means add/change the content.--Pmedema (talk) 18:26, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
This is an interesting development, but I think that the first paragraph should reflect the current state of the technology which, as mentioned toward the end, simply non-functional circuitry elements on a contact lense. This is a first step, but there are many currently unsolved issues to deal with, including power, connectivity, optics, and acceptance. I'll tweak the first part just to make sure that the reader does not think that this is a done deal. Desoto10 (talk) 05:22, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
Proposed merge with Virtual retinal display
[edit]Apposed – I feel that the article Virtual retinal display has problems with WP:OR. If anyone wants to port over cited information that conforms to WP:V I would have no problems with that. If a merge is discussed more then I would ask, would we move the name of the article to something else or choose one name over the other. I also move that if there no real discussion regarding a possible merge by June then I will remove the proposed tags. - Pmedema (talk) 18:36, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
- Well it has been almost a year without any discussion. As a default I'm going to remove the suggested merge tag. It can always be retagged if someone wishes to put forward an argument. - Pmedema (talk) 02:32, 28 November 2013 (UTC)
