--Agricultural engineering is a very wonderful course. In Africa graduates of Agricultural Engineering are lavishing in joblessness and other Engineering disciplines refuse to integrate them into their system. I believe an awearness that Agric engrs are not neccesarily restricted to the Agric. industry will help enlighten our employers. It is very fustrating for agric engrs to be left jobless for years when they are practically mechanical engrs.

please can somebody look into this issue and save our Engrs from abject poverty.Nigerians please take note.

Almondblossoms (talk) 23:35, 27 February 2018 (UTC)Agricultural engineering is the discipline of engineering that explores the production and processing of agriculture. The field considers both agricultural principles and technological processes. Agricultural engineering applies mechanical, civil, electrical and chemical engineering principles.[1][reply]

Iowa State University was the first institution to establish curriculum in agricultural engineering. Professor J.B. Davidson established the field by transforming the supplemental engineering program into a four-year program in 1903[2]. Davidson also became the first head of the department[3]. In 1907, the American Society of Agricultural Engineers, currently known as American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers, was founded at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

[edit]

Can someone add also the italian entry for Agricultural Engineering, i.e. "Ingegneria Agraria" (http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ingegneria_Agraria), to the list of "other languages" at the left of the page, please? List of courses

[edit]

It doesn't seem encyclopaedic to have a list of institutions and academic courses on the page. I think it would be better to remove those links and add information about the subject, but I don't want to remove a huge chunk of the article without at least raising the point here. Any thoughts? Professor Quibble (talk) 19:08, 29 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I have made a separate draft that is just the list from the article. I plan on improving this article once I submit the list only article. - AH (talk) 19:20, 9 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
