At the time, his death was in dispute. Now that his death is no longer in dispute, and the article shows him as dead, I don't think the talk page needs to be semi-protected any more. For now, it seems that the consensus is to have the article show that he is dead, and note the dispute. Since the [[WP:FORUM]] comments were from the side that wanted to have the article show Deif as dead, I don't expect this activity to resume. I also don't expect it to now come from the other side. ::Please note that semi-protecting the talk page means that non-confirmed editors cannot make edit requests. This means that protection on talk pages should be applied only under the most extreme circumstances.
