Draft:Sint Maarteners in the Netherlands

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
  • Comment: The draft uses only a primary source, namely statistics. It looks therefore like original research, see wp:nor. Since no secondary sources are used, the article does not show that the topic passes wp:gng. The phrase "However, it is very likely that" without citation looks like speculation, see WP:FUTURE. The article requires a couple of secondary sources with substantive coverage of the subject, or else it will not pass notability criteria. Ruud Buitelaar (talk) 05:24, 2 December 2024 (UTC)

Sint Maarteners in the Netherlands (Dutch: Sint Maartenaren in Nederland) are migrants from Sint Maarten to the Netherlands and their descendants. Sint Maarten was part of the former Netherlands Antilles until its dissolution in 2010, after which Sint Maarten became a constituent country of Kingdom of the Netherlands.[1] Sint Maarteners are legally Dutch citizens and hold thus hold Dutch citizenship.[2] As of 2006, official figures from the Statistics Netherlands (CBS) showed that out those of Dutch Antillean origin, 2.000 were from Sint Maarten.[3]
