I Love Amy (Korean: 나는 에이미를 사랑해) - is a webtoon manhwa written and illustrated by Korean artist Unni (Korean: 언니). This manhwa deals with many different themes: high school, obsession, resentment, childhood wounds, lost friendships and endless sadness.[1]
Beatrice Reden is obsessed with Peter, the school prince. Noticing Amy Lee next to him, she begins to feel jealous. Beatrice invites Amy to her home to threaten her, but Amy begins to like Beatrice instead. The two decide to become friends on the condition that Amy helps Beatrice confess to Peter.
Main characters
[edit]Amy Lee is Bibi's first friend and the one who will help her get closer to Peter.
Beatrice Reden (Bibi) is a psychopathic girl who is madly in love with Peter. She lives in a huge mansion with her uncle, whom she rarely sees.
Camille Angelica Connor is a tanned latina teenager who is Amy's very first friend.
Minor Characters
[edit]Peter Dales - The most popular guy in school and Bibi's crush, who saved her from being hit by a bus.
Joy Park - Amy's aunt, who is very close to her and is usually overprotective.
Julia Park - Joy Park's older sister and Amy's mother, who left her to die in a car in the hot sun when she was a child. She is the main source of Amy's trauma. She is in prison.
Nicholas Reden - Bibi's uncle and also her only living parent.
Sally Reden - Bibi's mother, who died in a plane crash.
Camilla's Friends
[edit]Nana - A happy, energetic girl who doesn't mind going out of her way to help her friends. Even if it involves kidnapping people.
Gabriela - A funny girl. She likes to have fun and relax.
Jenny - Asks Peter to go to prom with her, which causes Bibi to have an angry outburst.
Jean is a girl who is in the same circle of friends as Camilla. Nana's cousin.
Linda is a calm person with no emotional tendencies. She is the brains of her friend group and doesn't care about drama or "terrible, boring, stupid things." She is often honest and straightforward with others.
