Don't see why Value Chain, Virtual Value Chain and Value Grid are under C in the alphabetical listing (but have no idea how to change it) 88.108.105.231 (talk) 10:28, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
- It uses the following wikitext [[Category:Strategic management|Chain]], you would remove |Chain to make it order normally. However, i partially see the reason why the did it this way, so i'm not going to change that. Beta M 17:26, 24 December 2011 (UTC)
Has anyone created comprehensive collection of general purpose analysis, decision, planning, action frameworks?
[edit]I just came across a site, Mind Tools, which catalogues hundreds of such frameworks. But it is a paid subscription site. Many of the frameworks listed there are also described here in Wikipedia, but there's not a very rich category structure organizing the myriad frameworks listed in Wikipedia. The only category that comes close is this one: Strategic Management.
I'd like to contribute some effort to creating as comprehensive, and as well catergorized, a collection of frameworks as Mind Tools, but in an open wiki. But I don't want to reinvent the wheel. Is there already such a wiki I could contribute to? If not, would it make sense to create a separate collection of frameworks on a sister wiki to Wikipedia? Or would it make more sense to work on adding a richer set of framework categories to Wikipedia itself (and possibly standardizing the structure of the framework entries themselves)? How difficult is it to create and apply categories and entry templates (or whatever they're called) in Wikipedia. Thanks for your advice. --Nick (talk) 17:53, 27 November 2012 (UTC)
